“Creative tension”… sounds like poetic. I wonder how that translates into psycho-analysis framework. If ur boss or coworkers need to bully, or sarcasm, or threaten, or judge, or use passive-aggressiveness or diminish, etc to stimulate creativity, then he/she hasn’t got maturity or EQ to communicate it. If u need to receive “tension” to be creative then maybe u have SM or unresolved intra-psychic issues.

Yea but in this case this was Apple, not a normal business but one of the most successful business of all time.
