If the noise sounds familiar there’s a reason why. Of course it’s not the original rocket engine but some V-1 rocket engines were used in this way. I can’t remember if it was Sweden but I think so. Dude had a v-1 engine powered sled.

The v-2’s were pulse jets? I didn’t know that. Interesting. I had just assumed they were rockets. I looked it up before I sent this and they are rockets. Now I had to edit this because I found out the v-1’s were pulse jets. Thank you for educating me.

I was the ‘igniter/compressed air injector kid for my oldest brother on his large home made pulse jet which even had a water jacket for cooling. It’s a miracle we didn’t blow ourselves up and/or incinerate our young bodies with this monstrous contraption. It was definitely loud!
