Two random thoughts! #1: I also have a dog that was previously abused and it took him about 7 years to finally feel comfortable in my home. Unfortunately that trauma can take years to heal :/. Maybe keep your pup separate from baby for a little while and ease them into the same environment to avoid any accidents. Because at the end of the day animals are still animals and pup might not feel safe around baby. #2: your other pup might sense something happening in your body or change in hormones since your nearing labor and that’s why pup is being a little weird. Both my dogs became super clingy at the very beginning and ends of both my pregnancies and that’s what made me decide to take a pregnancy test both times! So crazy how they can sense these things. They can smell the change in hormones through different scents our bodies release during both the beginning and end of pregnancy! Also!! You look beautiful! Love you video

I had a dog that really disliked children of any age. When I brought my first son home, he loved him. He would lay with him and everything. We just introduced them slowly. Have a blanket with the babies scent on it brought from the hospital and bring it for the dog to sniff and such. Have confidence in the dog and reward him a lot when he is behaving around the baby.

Hey celest! I don’t know if this helps but we got an abused rescue dog about two years ago & he absolutely loathed other animals/kids/people (was absolutely savage & showed a completely different personality with them all). About two months ago we were blessed with a kitten and I was honestly afraid the dog would eat her. We kept him in his cage and allowed him to watch us interact with her for a few hours and although it took some time and training out of the cage, they are now absolute besties. I know this is totally different but it really gave us hope for him being able to make friends and interact with other critters and humans in the future. I think if Bean sees the love and peace that comes with Baby B, he will be able to settle down & fall in love with Baby just like you and Austin! Xx
