The Dark: Nature’s Nighttime World
For humans, darkness is menacing, forbidding, petrifying. It conceals the most dangerous and terrifying creatures on Earth, but it also holds some of the greatest, undiscovered mysteries of nature. Most animals are nocturnal, but they're seldom studied at night and rarely filmed in the dark. The Dark follows a team of wildlife experts on a mission to solve those wildlife mysteries. Braving the jungles and swamps of South America during the night, the team sheds light on previously unobserved creatures and strange behaviours, offering a new perspective on our wild planet.
Welcome to BBC EARTH! The world is an amazing place full of stories, beauty and natural wonder. Here you'll find 50 years worth of entertaining and thought-provoking natural history content. Dramatic, rare, and exclusive, nature doesn't get more exciting than this.

I find spiders so cool and interesting as well, the variation between them all is astonishing but the problem is, I have severe arachnophobia and when I say severe, I mean severe. I was once at Chester zoo and I went to the reptile and insect house. I think it was called that, I haven't been for ages. Anyway I went in an saw the tarantula exhibit and passed out. It was a school trip and I missed like a quarter of the day.

Beautiful video! As a self-proclaimed 'arachnophile', this is probably my absolute favorite out of the true spiders. Sorry, I'm not so much paying attention to the biologist and photographer, as so many are mentioning in these comments; whatever, any human can learn that. Give it up for the insane speed and dexterity that this species of spider showcases! Humans.....we are so selfish and self-centered, we turn anything about nature into something about ourselves...no wonder climate change is happening.....
