I am really surprised that some of these early NET network IDs were found from kinescopes of programs that were thought to be lost forever. Thanks go out to all the people involved in saving the kinescopes and videotapes of these programs, and for the work involved in restoring the footage, and then uploading it on to KZfaq for future generations to watch, learn, and enjoy.

That's veteran announcer Fred Foy saying, "This is NET. The public television network." By 1967, National Educational Television was underwritten by the Corporation of Public Broadcasting.
