I am sitting in my room crying over the beauty of this. The Office has been a huge part of my life and it probably always will be. It’s gotten me through so much stress throughout the course of my life. I started watching it during a time when there was little to no stress and I just didn’t understand it like I do now. But then I kept going back and watching it and appreciating the minor details and now the show just gives me so much joy. I’ve figured out so much about myself through a silly comedy about a paper company. Sometimes the most beautiful things can be small.

The office got me through so many things, I got so many people who would tell me to stop watching it at lunch, i'd do it outside. This show helped me a lot through all of my mental problems, health problems and trauma. Through out the years I kept re-watching it. It made me, happy and made me forget about my life for a bit. It was my escape. I remember being in the hospital after an overdose attempt, and seeing a small snippet of it on tv. I'm doing a lot better now. I started watching it on Netflix. This is, and will always be my favorite tv show. That will never change. I really connected with the characters. I especially connected with Erin, as she is adopted, and so was I. I cried at the last episode. I will miss this show, it will always be in my heart. Thank you to the Office and all the characters and actors. My husband got sick with brain cancer. he battled for 16 months and then we lost him. I asked my older kids how they coped and felt when he passed. They watched this show 10 times through that time. They said the day he passed, they went in their room and turned on the office. So, thank you to the office... it’s not just a show for my family. ♥️😢.

Woah. I watched the office for the first time a couple of summers ago and I stumbled across this video which is how I got introduced to AJR’s music. What a beautiful video. It perfectly encapsulates the way I felt when the show ended. The characters are so relatable it genuinely felt like I was saying goodbye to friends. And this was after a two week binge after I found the show about a year ago. So my wife and I just started The Office in June of this year and finished it last week. I don’t know why we never watched it...we caught glimpses of it over the years and found it amusing. But we sat down and watched 3-4 episodes for 4 months after we put our boy to bed at night. I saw this video before after the first time I heard this song, as it dawned on me they were singing about the show! I can’t imagine a better fan video!!! It’s absolutely perfect! The thing about the office is that while I was watching it I learnt that both of my parents were murdered in an alleyway. Since then the office has been the only thing on my mind and my only goal is to stan the office. Oh fuck I started crying halfway into the video. I’m really into the office right now and it’s actually been one of my biggest comforts through losing my grandfather, having troubles in my current and very happy relationship, and struggling through the end of this past school year.
