I know what he means when he was saying “ that’s what abuse does to you, it makes you this sticking plaster for all of life’s weirdos, it makes you an open wound”….its totally true…when you’ve been abused you really can’t see good for bad. You actually have empathy deep down that you end up being kind to those who aren’t kind but who look weak and vulnerable on the outside and they instantly latch onto you.

This was so honest and brave. He could've glossed over times he actually sought out his abusers, but by explaining his mindset I began to understand how lack of self-esteem and compassion for a mentally vulnerable woman led to the decisions he took. My younger sister was in a similar situation with a man she met at a social anxiety group, and I used to get annoyed with her for not reporting him. I feel like this show has helped me to understand her mindset better - he was at risk of suicide and the criminal justice system doesn't always have the resources to properly support people, even if they take your testimony seriously. It also shows how difficult it is to report if you're not the 'perfect' victim (avoiding contact with the abuser/stalker), and it's those who seek out their abusers who have probably had past trauma and may be even more vulnerable.

Just watched this and ... I cannot believe some of the incredibly complicated feelings he goes through as he is being stalked. The brushing off by the police, denying him the dignity a human being deserves. The friends who worsened the situation when he so badly needed to feel that he didn't deserve what was happening to him. It's just ... he so badly needed someone to empathize with and believe him, but the people he was close to turned away from him because it was easier than facing the danger of his stalker. To fully comprehend so many complex intricacies and then to be so effective in depicting those different thought processes he was going through is so immense and raw. I felt like he put words to things I'd only felt in the past but could not fully give words to. Very cathartic. Worth the watch/cry. 10/10

Essentially, a stalker is a person who harasses a person's life, but this series made me feel more entranced by the psychological changes of the protagonist who changes due to the stalker than by the stalker, and the psychology of the protagonist who changes again and learns about himself due to the people he meets in the process.

The all actors acting is amazing. It is closer to a human drama than a stalker theme, and the theatrical directing is really good. You can sympathize with all the characters thanks to the excellent scenario rather than forced persuasion. A dramatic but not dramatic masterpiece that depicts the world we live in well.

This man just single handedly created a whole new genre!! horror romance !! this was truly a master piece in the psychology of our need to feel loved wanted or needed And out of that need, how we can get lost in desperation for it. Brilliant five stars we'll done Netflix. It was dark, tragic yet educational, honest and enlightening.

Idk, the show You as well as stuff like Killing Stalking have done this type of thing before. However, we hardly get shows from the victim’s perspective, and especially not a male victim of stalking. This show was brilliant and an important piece of media that needed to be made

i love how the actress played martha, there are times you will hate her, and there are times you feel pity of her and the ending man, makes you understand what she'd been through in her childhood

A MASTERPIECE would be an understatement for this show. I have no words. It was so intense, deep, shocking and entertaining. Each episode just kept giving more and more. Binged the whole thing. The story, the production, the acting… Art at its highest.

What a masterpiece it is!! Absolutely mind-blowing. The amount of all sets of emotions while bringe watching it is overwhelming. The pain, shame, self distrust, abuse not only from the stalker, the pain again... And then the scene with his family, when his father reveales his own abuse. This cracked me completely into uncontrollably sobbing. And still the glimpse of love, humor, support and strength he finds to overcome all of this to make something so unrealistically perfect out of ot. The way he still perceives his stalker and reflects his own mistakes. I was completely blown away by this series. Forgot to mention the great acting of everyone else in the series

One of the best series I've seen in years. Initially, I've avoided watching the show thinking that this must be the typical stalker thriller haunting me for the rest of the week. Still, somehow it proved to haunt me in a completely different manner and made me question how honest I am with myself. I find it amazing how trauma is translated into such a masterpiece.

It has several extremes that it takes the human mind on which draws one into the suspense and intrigue of the entire movie. It doesn't end even though it does come to a close. It still haunts ones mind trying to unravel everything about it.
