Old Man Saxon was so great. I read an interview where the judges said they honest to god tried to get them both through- and send another pair home- but the lawyers were like 'no.' Shame because Saxon I would have LOVED to see more from on the show.

thats what makes this show great. the judges made the decisions on who got voted off. i think saxxon won that battle with smoke but i think the judges knew dsmokes potential and kept him in where any other show that allows fan voting and all that i think it would have been a different story. as far as the final four too... i think those last four truly were the best four on the show but if it was left to fan voting i could see the top four being different. more shows should not let fans vote.

I don't think TI is intimated at all Sista! He's one of the Executive Producers of this show. I think it displays one of the most unselfish acts by black celebrities. Reaching back and bringing opportunities for unknown artists like DSmoke that otherwise are not there. Let's break the chain and stop the self-hate. I'm much older than TI and have a lot of respect for the brother. I've watch him change his life, made some mistakes like we all do, but learned from them, realized his blessings and now are blessing others. Black Power on display!! !

Best reality show concept with no censorship. Netflix, please keep the same formula, don’t change it, it works!! It kept me watching and I wasn’t bored. Being originally from NY and was at the infancy of hip hop, I was throughly entertained with this show and I’m now 50! I felt in the beginning that D Smoke was going to be a finalist, but his finale song was fire, I’m ready to buy the single right now! Hurry up and clear the sample pleaseeeee!
