for me yumeko and sumeragi in live action did great. you might hate me for this but I have a love-hate towards suzui live action, he’s annoying because of his reactions but he’s actually more fun than the one in anime. still the anime is so much better and great, but i admit i did enjoy the live action.

I DISAGREE. Remember that this is your opinion, I respect that. But know that there will always be many people who think that the Live Action is on par or even better than the anime. In time of this LA release, many Japanese people unexpectedly give positive feedback watching the drama and movie, you can see their impressions on Twitter and LINE media. In this adaptation of the Kakegurui manga series, I for one are more impressed on the LA because it is more accurate and faithful to the manga. Many said it is cringe, but that is the essence of Kakegurui, the madness of gambling. I see the anime to be more fun for funservice, but through the story and acting, I rated the LA much higher. I also love the acting of Minami Hamabe. Please don't be close-minded and generalize all LA as bad, as much more are really good. Example is "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" and "Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare", who gets really many praise or like its anime. The "Chihayafuru" LA is even more popular and a hit in Japan. Even better is the rapidly growing popularity of "Alice in Borderland". All entertainment media have its upsides and downsides. All of us are free to give opinions. So please respect each other. Thank you ❤️

I honestly love the live action. It knows that it is ridiculous and uses that to its avantage. It's very entertaining and think the actors do a great job. The props and costumes are very good too! It's a fun little spin on the anime, and serves as something to watch while waiting for season 3

Both dying Aoi's hair and having a wig will look weird enough. It's much better to stay in that color. coz if she use wig or they dye her hair some people who dislikes the Live action will probably feel cringe with it more. lol lol I love live action sm and I'm okay with Mary's hair in live action. Based on these clips, I think the actors for Sumeragi, Manyuda, Kirari, and Yumeko did really well on capturing the characters and these scenes.

The parts with Yumemi are a big reason I prefer the live action version. It's fleshed out by more games and they actually show the songs they sing. Her speech when she had the audience paused was really fun, as well as funny with the yes parts. But, more importantly, I love how she reacts to her fans still liking her. Like she really appreciates them, now. In the anime it seems more like she's angry that she has to continue cause she grinds her teeth, before going back into kawaii mode. The actress is really great, too, as are all of the actors, really.

Yumeko's actor played it perfectly!! What bothers me most about most anime live adaptations is that the acting seems very fake. I know it's adapted from anime, where it's easier to convey some emotions with facial expressions and voice without being awkward, but the point of live-adaptations is convey that sort of thing in real life without being awkward. Acting is supposed to fool you into thinking something is real, not think it's fake. Another actor who I think did their role well is the Sumeragi actor! The girl with short curly hair and a headband!! The dramatics were done very well on that one!!

i dont know about anyone else but i found the manga plays up the technicalities of the games played, the anime plays up the erotic/hedonistic aspects of gambling and the live action version plays up the comedy. i love all three and want more of it

ngl this is one of the best live action of an anime that I ever seen, the main actress was amazing. Of course, the anime still better, but can't complain on something impossible to do, like expressions and other things

yes! i absolutely adore the main actress- ive recently watched her 2020 series ' cursed in love ' which she starred with ryusei yokohama ! i would recommend it to you but im not sure if it is the type of series you would watch-

I loved both! Look at the real life version as a theatrical performance. They exagerate every single scene, just as in the anime. They don't want to make a life action series, they are bringing the anime to life (weird faces and all). It was not supposed to be natural, at least in my opinion

Of course anime will always be the best because illustration wise it’s superior but kudos to the actors in live action also! especially Yumeko! She did really good! And Suzui is funny even though annoying some times but the actor who portrayed him was really cute and entertaining.
