Watch Akira Kurosawa's film entitled Musashi Miyamoto (1954). Also, this anime was designed after the legendary Toshiro Mifune, the actor playing as the ml in Musashi Miyamoto (1954). That's the closest thing you'll ever get as Vagabond. It's perfect and captures the real samurai. Everything is real without any fucking 3D CGI!

Musashi is "probably" the strongest Onimusha till this day. He took control of Oni transformation in short time despite not having Oni Blood. Something Samanosuke need long training for. No magic item other than Oni Gauntlet. Just his katana and wakizashi. Exemplary sword skill. Like holy fuck he did so many crazy stunt on his own and he's already old while previous protagonist is in their early 20's.

Even with a cgi that is pretty well stylised and nice to look at it doesn't hide nor make better the weakness and trashness of the cgi ... and in most sequence especially moving one still look bad and not natural at all without even talking about the fluidity. And that with the fact that the clip of this fight scene wasn't a '"full one" what i mean by that is that we clearly every movement in details instead of stupid low quality anime cheap technics of doing close up on random things well giving a "green screen" background with some effects. Tho at least i think the impacts and sensation are not that badly transmitted here but that's another subject anyway.
