My Dad was there in Bhopal at the time of this incident... he was working with National Textile Corporation that time and stayed near Union Carbide factory. I have seen that tragic night through his eyes... Now when we sat together to watch the series we could appreciate it even more ... all those people who showed courage and risked their life to save others deserve much more than accolades 👏 🙏🙏🙏

It’s a story of thousands of Sikhs who faced genocide in the mid 1980s, unfortunately media turned the whole genocide thing to a riot

Definitely. I don't see many people praising that part even though i know they all must have liked it.. the way Raghubir tried to save them.. how the TT tried disposing the name list.. it all adds much more to the naration. Like if he was not busy helping them he must have seen the red flag and stopped the train and then they could have sent the empty train for the rescue but just because of this little detail the series took a different turn.

Babil is so sensitive he got silent after Maddy chided him not to interrupt with his enthusiasm to talk when he’S speaking,,, but these are important lessons to learn along the way and better from elder colleagues than someone else teaching you. Glad to see him take it in a good spirit.

Just finished watching the series..... And I'm so grateful to Netflix and the whole cast and crew of the series.... What a spectacular job y'all have did..... Had tears in my eyes watching the last scenes of it and I know it's nothing to the pain and suffering all all the people felt that night.... All the tears that came out through their eyes....... May those souls never experience such pain in their afterlife

This was soo good that somewhere around the 3rd episode, I realized that I had pulled up my t-shirt collar to cover my nose like a mask. The acting, the panic, the desperation, cinematography of all those involved, from KK Menon to the Kamruddin guy to those dying...impeccable series and a must watch for all.

My father was in S&T branch of Indian Railways. Am a proud railway kid and grew up around the values shown by the sacrifice and bravery and dedication of railway employees of all levels. Thanks you for making this and with the authenticity and research including the communication and railway protocols of that time. My dad passed a few years ago and would have loved to watch it.

As a survivor of the Bhopal gas leak tragedy, although I was too young to comprehend what was happening at that time, this series brought so many memories and conversations around me back. I saw in person the pictures that the series showed.

I think this is the best Indian Series I have seen till now. Hats off to the Cast and the crew to make such a great one. We knew of the tragedy but never knew of the details and such brave men and women. One more thing Irrfan Khan's biggest achievement is to see his son Babil sitting beside such great actors today.... 💌

The series has a dialogue from Divyendu which was said by the character to a younger one who shared the same past as him, "Hum jaise logon apni taqdeer khud banani padti hain." Although a little hesitant but by the end the character indeed lived upto his own words.

Everyone around the table is so talented. I saw Babil literally listening to Neelesh so keenly and later speaking about the same topic with his perspective. I just love the way he interacts with everyone around me and even the paps. Probably the most sorted and talented young actor I've seen till date! Like father, like son 😊❤️

After watching babil's acting in the series I can say that he's on another lever in his initial piece of work. It shows what kind of geans he have in him which is gifted by his father Irfan sir. We can watch Irfan sir's acting through you and we what that you grow more than you father did. Also loved kk sir's work. He is underrated but people like me who love this art form will not stop providing endless love to people like you.

Watching this series literally gave me chills because my father used to tell me about the incident as he was one of those people who tried saving others by giving them a hand taking them to closed places.

I come from Bhopal and although I was born a decade after the Union Carbide incident I grew up hearing stories about that night from a lot of people, I had seen KK’s Bhopal express too which was a good movie but this series was just spot on, from the set, the local dialect, the sheer helplessness that the people of Bhopal felt that night is soo well depicted, hats off to the team 💯

The series is flawless no doubt, but I am happy that no extended unnecessary romantic angle was forced in this show. That really would have left a bad taste.

But still that conversation between Madhavan and Juhi was unnecessary at times when you consider that a train is about to approach Bhopal in a few minutes

@@rkpopinions1193I don’t think it was unnecessary. I thought it was just enough. Both of them are personalities prioritising their duty to the society over their individual needs. That’s why Maddys not home. But no matter they’re still husband and wife. So that conversation they had could’ve been the last time they spoke to one another. That showed the type of people that whole circle was. People who think about others first. Amazing how they didn’t make it a melodramatic romantic saga, which what usually Indian shows and movies tend to do.

brilliant series & a must-watch & kudos to all the actors who did possibly their best work though it will be hard to imagine what people on the ground are still facing and tackling the disaster...

I as a student learned about Bhopal Gas tragedy in environmental science of my graduation course. But honestly speaking, I did not have any idea about the contributions of railway men. This series must be watched by all children too. It is a complete research work. Thanks to the makers.
