Usually after about 40-45 minutes and you think you’re not getting high is when one eats more edibles which is usually where a good nights sleep ensues!

That very much depends on how strong the edible is, the exact delivery method, and your personal metabolism. I don't remember if Jack said how long the queue was but gummies are known to be incredibly strong and much quicker to hit because there's less for your body to metabolize besides the thc/cbd. I had one the other day that my roommate brought home and I don't know exactly when I started feeling it, but after 20 minutes I realized I was an oops level of high. Brownies and other baked good usually take longer and that's really where the 45 minutes comes in because they, in my experience, tend to hit you all at once and last a while so you don't want to wait 30 minutes and take some more only to have the high from the first one hit you 15 minutes later and be a good level, or worse a little too much, and 30 minutes later you're having a really bad time. The first time I ate brownies my friend said we were going to wait an hour and if I absolutely wasn't feeling anything then we would eat a little more which turned out to be a good idea because it took about 50 minutes to hit but it was the perfect level and lasted for a few hours at that same level.
