Lost my wife to cancer a little over a year ago and this series meant so much to me, resonated so much. I laughed and cried in equal measure. Thank you so much Ricky for making this series

I’ve never known a show combine humour and sadness quite like After Life. One moment you’re crying tears of laughter and the next you’re crying tears of sadness. I think my favourite moment that epitomised that was when Tony found out his Dad died. I was laughing so much at the Community Theatre Revue, I was in hysterics. And then all of a sudden bang you get an onslaught of sadness when you hear about Tony’s Dad. It’s something a lot of people can probably relate to. And the fact Tony was almost nonchalant when he found out made it even more sad because you could visibly see him bottling it all up.

One of my favourite parts of this show is multiple times throughout the series even though Tony is constantly struggling with his grief there is a few moments where other characters are having issues and Tony simply asks them "Do you wanna get a coffee?" Such a simple gesture can be so kind and alleviating for someone who feels like the world is crushing them.

Just finished watching the series , it was by far and away , the finest show that I have ever watched , I'm nearly 64 years old , never before have I found myself laughing and crying every 30 minutes in my life , Congratulation to all of you , cast , crew , writers and creators , absolutely fabulous .. a special Kudo's to the fantastic German Sheppard , she was amazing ..

Let’s face it, we’ve binge watched all the After Life series and desperate for more content. Absolutely love the cast and Ricky Gervais is a creative genius

My favourite Kath scene, although it's funny and heartbreaking at the same time, is when she starts crying in the yoga class and says "I'm so lonely", which is soul destroying, but then it's saved by the instructor hilariously asking her to leave because she's bringing the vibe down lol

Probably my favourite TV show of all time, brutally funny, savagely unapologetically rude and heartbreaking... Perfectly acted, cast and directed.. Rip After Life... You will be missed

Still got a lump in my throat, three days after watching season 3 to the end. Absolutely brilliant, wonderful. I’m going to watch the whole thing, all over again. That’s how good it was, thank you x x

There are moments in this show that have sat with me for years. Particularly the scene from S1Ep5 where Tony talks to Anne about suicide. Ive spent years in a similar perspective to him, thinking about how 'suicide feels like a superpower' and constantly plagued by it on a daily basis and ironically in the current day Im petrified of death. I'll likely live my entire life with my mental illness - it will never truly go away but I can learn to walk alongside it. The idea that 'society grows great when men plant trees the shade of which they'll never sit in' is something that gave me hope then and still gives me hope now. Thank you so much

I went to Colin's stand-up a few weeks ago, he's a brilliant comedien and such a nice guy.

Never was a big fan of ricky but this programme was probably the best television i have watched in years . It was funny ,sad,crude,very emotional at times it had the lot . I will certainly be watching again from the very start . Well done . Brilliant

To pen a show and cast the actor's that are breaking your heart one minute and then splitting your sides with laughter. To do this a couple of times in a shows entirety is great but multiple times per episode is just pure magic. Thank you Ricky and the Cast❤

I actually fell of my couch laughing when Lenny was slurping the breast milk pudding and Tony was heaving at the sight of it. Utterly priceless

This kind of show can only made by english. No other land can do the same. It's so special. Love this so much. The best stuff i've ever seen. Every actor, and i mean every actor was genius casted. Also the music was absolutely amazing with my favorites both sides now from joni mitchell, billy joel s and so it goes or even among the living from the thorns etc... Absolutely genius. I'm from germany and when i looked the show i was sad not to be an english man. But the worst part is that it ends. This made me totally sad. I've cried by the last scene with the song both sides like a Teen who lost his first love. Never felt like that from a tv production. Please Mr. Gervais :Don't let this show dies. But anyway Thank you, Thank you........ and sorry to all for my bad english. Love your land

I just love the extreme rollercoaster of emotions that After Life puts me through! Favorite scene: The sounds of Lenny slurping the rice puddings made out of breast milk and Tonys gaging because of it. That puts me in tears every single time.

'After Life' was THE best thing on TV in the last 35 years, maybe more. Absolutely loved this series. Just brilliant all around- writing, acting, directing. Kudos to Gervais and company.

Series 3, final episode is the TV moment of 2022, not just so far but of all 2022! This show could not have been any better!

Watching this really helped me with the ending. I know its a fictional series but seeing them all laugh together helped alot. Loved the series

"I'm Milly" "I'm Lisa" took my breath away and into tears and the next scene with the little fella. "I'll come in every day until you're better". "Or until i go to Heaven" had me wailing. An unadulterated yank of the heartstrings of real-life tragedy.

This show will be studied and enjoyed for years, and really thoughtful and emotional and touching way to cover a topic we all experience in some form or another at some point in our lives.

Perfect cast for this wonderful show! You created something so special!

The emotions that came from this show is just truly unbelievable. I LITERALLY never cry unless a family member passes away (I know wow such a tough guy 😂) but man, this show is one of the first shows in years that has moved. One moment you’re laughing your ass off, the next youre on the verge of tears. This show is beyond relatable and I think that’s what hits home the most. I will forever adore this show and the cast. I literally cried every single episode of season 1 and 2. Season 3 not so much but the final episode I just completely lost it and bawled my damn eyes out. Ricky is a bloody legend and everyone in this show did such an amazing job.
