Netsky -- "2" takes the 23 year old's signature sound and brings in live influences with elements of electro-house and dubstep alongside the euphoric, hands-in-the-air D+B he has become known for.
Across the 14-track selection there are a number of featured vocalists, from names we know and love such as Dynamite MC and Diane Charlemagne to international talents like million selling Belgian soul/funk singer/songwriter Selah Sue, The Times' "female artist to watch", Bridgette Amofah and US rapper Jimmy Jams.
Kicking off with a storming intro in "Love Has Gone" the album progresses through future anthems like "The Whistle Song" and "Wanna Die For You". Previously released singles "Give & Take" and "Come Alive" are all live band influences and catchy vocal hooks, whilst old skool piano chiming "Get Away From Here" is classic Netsky with a twist, with lush vocals courtesy of Selah Sue. Elsewhere, "911" injects a bit of robo-electro-house and then there's the streetwise patter of hip-hop charged drama in "Squad Up". "When Darkness Falls" is late night D+B soul lushness, whilst "Detonate" is an incendiary heavy hitter and final track "Drawing Straws" provides a classy outro.
Challenging the "difficult second album" concept with a genre-spanning panorama of uplifting melodies and exciting new tunes, Netsky -- "2" reaffirms once more the young producer truly is one of Belgium's premium exports.

I took my girlfriend to see Netsky live in Sheffield last year, and although her leg hurt she still enjoyed it despite not being able to dance like other people would. She felt bad because I wasn't dancing either, but I wasn't going to leave her. Now she's been diagnosed with 4 autoimmune diseases, so we're not as happy as we used to be. I listen to this song to remind me of a happier time when we worried less, and despite the title our love hasn't gone.

I have the same kind of issue I have been told I could have either really bad chrons or a tumour in my stomach and it makes me sick sometimes for a whole day at or 2 at a time like every 10 minutes I'm throwing up and I have 2 kids with my partner so not only is it testing our relationship I'm missing time with my kids and this has been happening for about 3 and a half years now so it's also very testing for me

The frustrating thing about getting to 65 is that you're "not supposed " to like stuff like this . I recently split with my partner after 35 years together , the trouble is now who am I going to find who likes my kind of music , all the women my age want Crowded house, Adele , Lighthouse family or other stuff like that FFS !! Play that to me when I'm dead

listen to be there 4 u concord dawn remix (there are 2 versions, i recommend the one that sounds cleaner. they both have the same name so you just need to find it. on bandcamp there is clean version for sure). you wont regret this :D

Idk why but for me, it feels so 'natural' to listen to DnB and it never bores me, as if my body was born to like the genre. Have you ever wonder something like that? Like when you discover a new genre that you really like (not just DnB) and the next thing you know, you keep listening to that genre over and over and over again for decades without getting bored of it?
