Brilliant! However, if you’ve seen Ohio fish rescue’s pool pond, a few small baby cichlids got into the pond via an overflow & now they have a huge colony. If you were patient, that pond will be full of babies very soon. Your content is NEVER boring. Such a fun channel to watch & Rob is a great addition to your videos 👏👏👏

The cichlid pond is so eye appealing with the color variations and amount of fish. You should definitely do a Discus tank. A 180 gallon or a 240 would be amazing. If you do a Discus tank, you should have a large school (50+ fish) of cardinal tetra and/or rummy nose tetra. Also a group of some type if geophagus would look good. Sand bottom with driftwood.

Man Ohhh man what a paradise for tank fish !!! I would be there for hours upon hours just looking and wishing for giant tanks to put them all in !! We live in Texas where we get extreme cold n hot temps through the seasons. So no ponds without major heating n shading set ups . Just lots of fishing ponds and ditches n creeks all around . Thank you as always for sharing.

Just make sure to do your research on Discus before you setup the tank. They are 180 degrees in the other direction from Mbuna and Haplachromis , great vid by the way , I have been in the cichlid world for 33 years here in Florida and haven’t seen that farm. Looks well setup with a good core stock, those OB pseudos are a Asian cross, they showed up around 2001 / 2002 right before the meltdown

Are there any rules about the amount of fish fits in a pond like this one ? (I don't have fish and I am just addicted to this channel). The fish are so beautiful! Adding 100 extra fish seems like so much! Especially when they are going to breed. Can you explain in one of your upcoming video's how you decide/know when a pond is to empty or to crowdy.
