Basic on structured network cabling from Bridge Cable - More in our learning page online bridgecable.com/knowledge-center/
So this videos covers installation of the network cabling to a keystone or network jack. Various network jacks are used across the world but keystone jacks need to be properly jacked.
We cover how to strip the jacket off the wiring. You can use strippers from Harris or Klein Tools. Once you get the pairs out cut the pull string and have a nice clean cut. Inspect for a moment that none of the pairs were nicked or stressed at all.
Place the correct wiring nice and firm into the jack. Punch down the wiring and leave a solid snug connection. Failure to do so might give you connection but crosstalk or just being plain dead in the water.
Stop by the other videos on our channel as this is a training video for all new techs in the network cabling services for Philadelphia and EVERYWHERE!
