También conocido con el nombre de "Rally Championship", se trata de uno de los juegos de rallies más realistas y mejor diseñados de la década de los 90.
"Network Q RAC Rally Championship" cuenta con una base de datos de circuitos y coches para los amantes de esta disciplina, así como de una breve historia que explica los inicios de los rallies y el palmarés a lo largo de las últimas décadas, con sus vencedores y las marcas utilizadas.
Sin embargo, su punto fuerte radica en la jugabilidad, gracias en buena parte a los diferentes modos de juego que presenta. De esta forma, el usuario podrá optar entre disputar un campeonato con sus 28 trazados, medir sus habilidades contra el reloj o completar los cinco niveles arcade con los que se nos desafía. Y todo ello a bordo de uno de los seis coches oficiales que por aquel entonces eran usados para las competiciones reales, a saber: Ford Scort, Proton Wira, Renault Mégane, Skoda Felicia, Subaru Impreza y Volkswagen Golf.
Por último, cabe destacar su aspecto gráfico, cuidado hasta el último detalle con vistosos paisajes y un comportamiento del vehículo diferente en función del terreno. En cuanto al apartado sonoro, el juego cuenta con una selección de melodías escogidas para la ocasión y unos efectos sonoros que guardan una gran fidelidad con lo que podemos escuchar en cualquier competición, ya sea televisada o "in situ".

Maan... I used to play this game when I was very, very young, I bought it from a magazine named CD Expert here in Brazil, and I loved it. Thanks man, this game is still in my memory, I loved to hear the narrator voice again, and the musics, thanks!

I must have spent weeks of my life playing this back in the day, bought it in a three pack for £20 that had Star Trek: TNG, PGA Golf 97, and Network Q Rally, and that's pretty much all I played for months and months lol this really takes me back

Efectivamente, era un juego muy adelantado a su época. Además, el control era muy preciso y guardaba una fidelidad casi absoluta con los campeonatos de rallies.

I first played thid great game in a 486 pc and had to play it in low graphics. In high graphics it had frame drops. As soon as i bought a Pentium2 i really enjoyed it to the fullest 🙂

Me pasó lo mismo 😂 pero yo tenía Windows 95 muchas tardes jugando a este juego de rally hoy en día juego al Fórmula 1 para PS4 con el volante G29 me encantan los juegos de carrera, tmb tengo el Gran Turismo 7 que me vino con la play. Que vicio.

Oh how far we have come. I remember this game very well, it was my first Rally game back in the day and I was hooked. Now I play Dirt Rally 2.0 with a sim wheel and VR headset. It's unbelievable how far we have come in my lifetime... Unbelievable.

My first car/racing game. Never been big on rally even back then but it had me hooked for a few years. Mum snapped the CD when she busted me playing at 1am on a school night. Keyboard racer, too. Inwould gave been 9-10 in '98 when I got it.

I was 11 when i played this finally found a video on here all about it. Great memories. Thanks for posting. I'm sure it was this game that had a really random glitch. You had to be inside the car and slowly turn the car to the right side of the track. once at the side keep the power floored and keep turning right. It would skid out and fully face the hedge but then suddenly speed up and you would finish the race in a few seconds.

I loved this game. It was the first game I ever played when I was 5. It was so dificult for me and I always ended up crashing into the fence and my car's wheels turned upside. I tried so hard to win and I finally won many after hours of practice I also loved to hear the cars description his voice was funny to me even thought I didn't understand english now I can and I still love it.

If you hadn't have a PC yet but you owned a CD player, you could listen to the game's soundrack with that because all the in-game music was in audio CD format on the disc 😎

Those guys at the "Magnetic Fields" knew how to create a rally program. This and the following 2 titles of the "Rally Championship" series are timeless classics for now; best rally games for sim fans: Network A RAC Rally; International Rally Championship; Mobil1 Rally I'm glad that I could own these legends. :)

Me encanta la etapa 9, Pundershaw.... Además me recuerda bastante a los paisajes de la película, El Resplandor, que la vi por aquella época y me impactó.... Tendría unos 14 años. Juegazo que lo tengo siempre en mi portatil y que le tengo mucho cariño. Los juegos de ahora son increíbles, pero como la jugabilidad y diversión de este... Pocos

Я часами напролёт играл в эту игру! Помню запустил одну ночную снежную трассу и ехал минут 10 - такая она была длинная (ночная и со снегом). Как же это было похоже на реальную поездку по трассе, это было незабываемо!!! Однозначно одна из лучших игр всех времён!

This game is almost 30 years old and still remains one of the best, if not the best rally game ever. I still have the cd, but unfortunately i can't run it on my pc

I remember getting this for PC and my PC just not being up to it, a couple of upgrades later and I hammered this for days on end, loved the continuous track not circuits. This and NASCAR Racing might look like cat sick now but very special place in my memories.

23 years of keyboard practice. I still play rally games from my keyboard, as I used to play this game. I am good , because I am ony 2 seconds slower than a friend on a G27.

That game was magnificent back then i was like 9 , my best car was the subaru & in real life i got my 1st subaru from a dealer that works with sport cars and it was the one in that game all by chance

This is IMHO one of the best Rally games ever created. With the possible exception of Richard Burns it knocks the WRC series and to some extent Dirt out of the ring. The stages were long and realistic, based on real mapping data from the Ordnance Survey. It was as much of a challenge to keep your car unbroken enough to actually avoid early retirement as to get round the track. Sadly last time I tried to run this, even the updated version was incompatible with modern hardware and Windows 10. I remain in hope that one day someone will make a rally simulation that is as realistic and engaging as this title was.

LOL! I still have this rally champiionship game I still play even today in 2014! i first played it in 1998 I was 20 then great features here fun to play and to replays to the rain levels and snow stages were my favorite and luv the codriver yelling Hard left!!!! Hard right!!! fun stuff!! And that music from the selection screen was so relaxing and my favorite as well!!Plus If your looking for a real thrill do the Arcade mode :-P

Jooooodeeer! Este juego es mi infancia, me encantaba jaja, me tiraba horas y horas jugando, tenia una musica muy guapa y algunos circuitos eran super largos... Recuerdo que el Cosworth era el único que sonaba la válvula del turbo al soltar el acelerador, aunque de pequeño ni sabía lo que era XD Gracias por hacerme recordar tan buenos momentos ;)

+Unai Caballero Había uno en concreto de casi 20 minutos de duración, siendo el más largo sin lugar a dudas. Además, poco después fue distribuida una expansión que ofrecía unos 10 circuitos adicionales que podían ser disputados en los diferentes modos de juego que ofrecía el título. ¡Ah! Y si no te has pasado a echar un vistazo a la lista de reproducción correspondiente al torneo de rallies del canal, te animo a hacerlo porque utilizamos este mismo juego para la causa. ¡Un saludo!

This was my very first rally game that I played on my Pentium 2 PC. Wow those were awesome times. I played this game for hours on end. Weekends went by like they were only a few hours (Or that's how it felt when playing this game) I remember my mom yelling from the kitchen "Stop playing that Fokking game and go wash your face" lol. Good times

Going through the stages, gotta say Pundershaw was, as a 10yo, was a daunting bloody stage but loved the challenge of beating the top times. Best challenge was trying to beat 20mins in the Skoda.

I loved that game!! Wauchope, the fastest track! How come I don't see any comment about CHANGING THE GEARBOX SETTINGS for getting a higher speed? With some changes, you could break the 300km/h with the subaru, and even reach 270km/h with the loosy Skoda Fabia. At these high speeds, the Fabia wasn't able to turn at all, which was a lot of fun 😀

Magnetic Fields se distinguió por títulos de carreras de una calidad sobresaliente por aquella época. Además, con éste en concreto estoy haciendo pruebas con otra persona en línea por si pudiésemos grabar algo para el canal a modo de desafío.

Creo recordar que es CD de modo mixto. Por un lado se encuentra la estructura de datos y, por otro, las pistas de música correspondientes al juego. Pero todo ello en el mismo disco, no existe uno extra que albergue las pistas de audio.
