I love the rawness and authenticity of this video. None of that sanitised “be careful you silly boy”. It’s real, like how it really is without any PC and PG bullshit.

Chopped up in to bits. Yep that's about right if you stand on the track and don't look out. Maybe they should show this to teenagers in schools and universities, to show them what happens to themselves and the drivers and crew if they trespass on the line.

@mattandex To hammer home the impossible position the driver gets squeezed into. Many women wouldn't be so frank, but the message will get through just the same. From wife, kids, neighbours... if you can't drive any more 'cause of mental trauma, the support systems for you are pitifully limited. 😔

Random question. What is the electrical noise you hear from a distance when a train is near?

It isn’t electrical. That sound is the vibration of the wheels rolling along the rails. So as the train approaches, they vibrate and make that sounds which you hear.

@@christopherwaring8285 Really depends what speed and what's behind it. A 2 car 156 DMU will stop at a certain distance from top speed of 100mph but a 5 car class 800 bi mode with a top speed of 125 will have a certain distance that is probably longer same with cargo a 66 with 20 full diesel tanks will stop differently to a 66 with just empty intermodal cars and a couple containers.
