"What Shall We Do?" by Leo Tolstoy is a reflective essay that delves into the author's moral and philosophical crisis upon witnessing the stark social inequalities in 19th-century Russia. Tolstoy scrutinizes the ethical implications of wealth, the injustices of poverty, and the societal structures that perpetuate these disparities. He explores his own complicity in this system and seeks solutions that align with his Christian moral beliefs, advocating for a life of simplicity, labor, and compassion. Through personal anecdotes and philosophical discourse, Tolstoy challenges individuals to reconsider their roles and responsibilities within society. PART ONE.

I was so relieved to see _Part 1_ attached to this! The story itself brings to mind the song by Bob Dylan_ What Good Am I?

Tolstoy had great insight into human nature, and great faith in God. Take God away and misery is bound to follow.

Thank you once again for your efforts. Would you mind sharing who the narrator is? My interest is in whether this is one of those "read aloud" voices that one can purchase - my apologies if this is being read by an actual person. I have some text of prayers that I would like to have "read aloud" whilst driving and would love to have this voice read them to me. Hoping this finds you well. Cheers.

"You Gotta serve somebody, either The Lord or the devil...." Bob Dylan (1941) You either take the Red Pill ( Spiritual Life) or Blue Pill (material life) The material world is a world of duality, God the supreme creator has given us some independency; To do good or evil; to be selfless or selfish, to be religious or irreligious... To be in light or darkness.. Surrender to The Lord as His Servants or surrender to the demons.

Dylan came on national television and told the interviewer that he had sold his soul to the devil. Almost all the music artists today and Hollywood celebrities have sold their soul to the devil, literally signing a contract and by that they were boosted into Fame, most of the new artist with no talent at all. Dylan always had talent, but I guess his love for money and fame caused him to do the deal later in life. Ironic after writing ing the song You gotta serve somebody. I would think he was set pretty good at that time but greed and lust for fame has no bottom to its pit

Some folks are always asking if this is an AI narrator or an actual human. If it is ai i have to admit the technology is very good. The voice reminds me of Iain Glen (starred in Resident Evil, Game of Thrones).
