Thank you for your videos, I am honestly very impressed with your contents as I am preparing for my Neurology boards. I just wanted to point out one thing in this lecture, which is that the AICA artery should be coming off the basilar artery instead of the vertebral arteries in the drawing. I know you mentioned it correctly but just so it's 100% accurate. Thanks again, good luck, keep it up and wish me luck!

I ended woke up with double vision and a severe headache just this weekend out of nowhere and ended up going to the ER , I had an CT scan and MRI to rule out tumor, stroke etc. I was told to follow up with my opthalmologist, he told me about sixth nerve palsy and explained what he could which clear but left me wanting to know more. I like million others went straight to the Internet and I must say your detailed explanation made even more clear. Thank you by the way Is their anything I can do to speed up recovery or stimulate recovery on that nerve? Like keep icing my eye, pencil push ups, or something I might no know about.

@@outofthedarknessandintothe1538 my left eye just went... they said the same thing. I just got out of the hospital. I have to wait three weeks to see an ophthalmologist. Did the prism help?
@outofthedarknessandintothe1538
@outofthedarknessandintothe1538 Жыл бұрын
@@pupilofthecollective the 20 strength didn't but the 30 did. I am able to see single again but I still have problems with perception especially when turning around to fast (makes you feel like you have vertigo), and when I'm in the sun the prism directs the light into my eye so I have sun glass cover that I bought at Walmart. It helps a little. If you already wear glasses it kind of interfere with your prescription because of the lines but your brain has to adjust.

AICA shouls have been a little higher coming from the basilar artery and on the place of your AICA should be the PICA. This would make the AICA closer to the n.VI and would make more sense. Thanks for the art & knowledge!

hmmm.. have you thought about post covid folks with long covid symptoms of dizziness...hangover... or brain fog? most likely to be abducens? occulomotor or vestibular in nature.. most likely damage from spike proteins coursing through blood brain barrier of inflammation? any ideas? great vid.
