I'm south african (Half South African English White & Zulu) and I rarely come across people from my region/state that didn't have beautiful, straight, white teeth. We grew up chewing on sugar cane which needed one to chew until your jaws literally began to hurt. We also grew up eating pap, "inyama yenhloko (cow's head)", inhlabathi (some kind of edible clay), freshly grown veggies and other foods that were pretty difficult to chew. I was also an incredibly healthy until the city lifestyle : constantly making instant porridge and cereals. But I truly do believe that sugar cane has got something to do with my tribe people in Northern KwaZulu-Natal usually have great set of teeth. Great video guys!

I'm from Brazil and i used to eat a lot of sugar cane as Child. Mi teeth isn't as beatiful as it was in my childhood years, but i remember it being HARD. it was so good, but its hard, and i think isn't crazy to say eat things like red meat, sugar cane and atc feels like a real jaw exercise. With helps on the facial muscles, i supose.

EDIT: I just wanna make it abundantly clear to everyone. Mewing is a fad. Mike Mew likely had his license revoked for a good reason. It’s just good oral posture. It’s natural and it’s the way things should be. It can help jaw development during your childhood. However, keep in mind that genetics play a roll as well and just because you have a jaw misalignment or don’t look like a Greek god doesn’t necessarily mean its your fault. Ideal forward projection of the upper and lower jaw isn’t naturally in the cards for everyone, no matter what you do. My upper jaw is fantastic and I have extremely sharp and forward projecting high cheekbones and a super strong jawline (I genuinely look AI generated according to anyone who’s seen a picture of me online) and my teeth still grew in weird enough that I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out. There is nuance here, guys. Regardless, if a jaw misalignment is bad enough, there’s no shame in jaw surgery. Stay strong guys. There’s tons of misinformation out there, and especially in this comment section, and around the topic of looks maxing in general. Body dysmorphia is a killer, and lots of things are in your head. Don’t overthink things, but follow the path you want to follow. Also, thanks for all the likes. 😎 --------------- It’s so strange how nobody ever tells you these things. Not your parents, not your teachers, not your doctors or dentists. Nobody. Yet it’s so important, and if you don’t catch on at a young age, it can permanently screw your facial structure and completely derail your genetic potential. Edit: mouth breathing is technically something that is addressed by orthodontists. I had just never heard of it as a concept or something to avoid. (Also, no I was not a mouth breather and MY face is fine.)

Nah my mom told me not to mouth breathe when I was a kid bc it would make me a slack jawed idiot. She would pinch me if I was doing it. Matter of fact she caught me fake sleeping once because I was breathing thru my mouth 😂. She’s a real one for that never knew it had actual scientific evidence until these recent years

Meditation helps with low belly nasal breathing. The sleep discussion was eye opening to me. That 30-60 degree angle does make all the difference! Crazy! I’m thinking of trying to tape my mouth shut, but not too excited about it.

I'm so happy to hear someone agree with me on fillers. I'm an esthetician and can not understand why people want to look like everyone else. It's getting creepy. I have to get this book Jaws. I've heard of facial yoga, but to chisel your face naturally is a game changer.

I've been using mouth tape for 2 years or so. Anxiety has improved remarkably as well as overall physical and mental health. It wasn't the only change I've made but I believe it's been a huge cornerstone in my self-saving effort.

@@ReXxmaniacxXeR I'm constantly trying new things my friend. The morning routine that Huberman discusses has been a big help. I wake up and start with an ice cold shower (after a few minutes of a warm shower) and then I make sure to get sunlight in my eyes in the first hour. I also don't look at my phone at all most mornings. If I'm having a tougher morning I'll play some music while I go about doing other things. No screen time at all though for the first hour.. I was never a caffeine drinker but, after hearing the Huberman Lab podcast on caffeine, I started using it daily. I wait a minimum of 90 minutes after waking before having caffeine. It helps my ADHD and I seem to have enough energy all day and night and never have a 'crash'.. I quit cannabis after using it very heavily since I first tried it at age 22 (I'm 29) and it has been crucial for me. I miss it at times but I have so much more control over my impulses now and that helps with my overall health... I have learned some techniques to massage/activate the Vagus Nerve which has been a huge help the past 6 months. Stimulating the Vagus nerve really helps me calm down when I'm stressed/anxious but I do it even when I'm feeling great.. Last but definitely not least, I have been using the sauna 3-5 nights a week for about 4 months now and it is my favorite part of my day! I swear by it. Look up Andrew Huberman on sauna. It helps the heart, immune system, Vagus nerve, digestive tract, and allows you to feel more dopamine! The cold showers in the morning and Sauna in the evening are a Godsend. I was a mouth breather for the first 18 years of my life, and now I'm 21 and awaiting double jaw surgery because of how abnormal my lower and upper jaw are. I met with one of the top jaw surgeons in Washington, and he said my lower jaw is recessed an entire inch. I cannot wait for the transformation, to have the face I was supposed to develop.

Buddy, what you're describing is genetic. Nose breathing wouldn't have done much for your condition. This claptrap is way overhyped. Fellow mouth (normal) breather here, and I have nothing of the developmental problems you describe. I have ALL of my wisdom teeth, have never needed braces, and am quite strapping. I'm not bragging, just saying unless you have perfectly clear sinuses and zero nasal congestion/allergies all year long, every year, then nose breathing really isn't feasible and therfore isn't the norm. Hell, why should it be? You need to BREATHE. The mouth is a larger, more reliable opening. It just makes fucking sense to breath the mouth (normal) route. It's these nose breathing freaks who're trying to convince us they're better and more beautiful. They're not. They're oxygen-deprived nose breathing freaks.

Great advise! I often breathe through both because I feel a bit of conjestion in my nose. I just did a brisk 15 minute walk and focused on keeping my mouth shut. By the end of the walk I found breathing through my nose much easier as the congestion cleared. I’ll keep this up for sure.

I stopped consuming dairy products, and within a week I was able to breath through my nose again. Whenever I indulge in icecream, or pizza, or pasta with cheese etc.... I always regret it the next day because I get congestion in my nose and sinuses

I’m 26 with obstructive sleep apnea. I’m a 5 year recovering/recovered drug addict. I’m aware it is a consequence of my past choices. My sinuses have damage and it makes breathing through my nose, especially in my sleep, constantly cause a stuffy nose that I believe is how I now naturally react in my sleep by blocking things(air) from going through. That is only an uneducated theory I have, but I do everything I can to not breathe through my mouth. But it is so hard to breathe through my nose, especially during the day when I don’t have the moisture/humidity that my CPAP machine provides during my sleep. It’s really frustrating.

Or just hold it all in and end up in a reddit echochamber, not actually doing anything to process being bullied.. until you take it out on the world. The latter is much less likely but obviously does happen.

I was always a mouth breather as a kid because of allergies that caused the inside of my nose to be swollen. I snored like a fat old man my whole childhood into young adulthood. Because of this my facial structure is like how the pictures are. If you're reading this and you're going through puberty, get your mouth breathing fixed asap if you have it.

@@peaky6622 it is easy to know what to do. Its just hard to execute. I went from a mouth breather to a nose breather in about a year. At first its very hard, constant feeling of suffocating and cramping of facial muscles. Do it or dont, just dont make fucking excuses.

Yup! I do skin gym on my face at home. I noticed two weeks later how much more fit my jaw and cheek area looked! I also breathe through my nose and hate breathing through my mouth. And I love crunchy foods or things where I gotta chew, which works out the jaw.

I've actually done a research paper on the effects of violin and viola playing on facial development. Basically holding the instrument on one side creates imbalances and asymmetry in the face and can even lead to jaw problems!

@@jornidema1884 There is little evidence to support mewing, nevertheless, Mike is a physician, he may be qualified to diagnose most pathologies but he is not a scientist persay, he can give his opinion but cannot prove or disprove anything, this kind of mission should be taken care of by proper researchers. Plus a doctor that wastes his time writing, recording and editing videos is probably not a good doctor to begin with, this however is an opinion and not a fact.

It's fascinating how much our breathing can affect our physical and mental health, and how we are never really taught how to do it. Apparently, the average human breathes with only 15-20% of their lungs' capacity. People often focus on stretching tight hamstrings but seldom think of stretching a tight/restricted diaphragm or intercostals, which move the ribcage. But when you do the results are amazing. If you are a swimmer, singer, horn player, or whatever you'll notice a huge difference. Considering how much stress there is these days, knowing how to breathe can very quickly take you from your sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). Here are some tips to do it anytime: -Breathe in and out through your nose -Make your exhalations longer than your inhalations -Narrow the passage at the back of your throat so that you can hear and feel your breath there -Hum -Move your diaphragm up and down as much as possible, with your slowest deepest breath (this is great to do any time of day for five mins when you feel stressed, and before bed if you have trouble switching off)

Literally through all of time people have known to practice proper singing, and yoga. It’s considered close to religious epiphany and godforce to control your diaphragm so well that you can sing. We’ve alwAys insulted mouthbreathers and made sure to stop kids from sucking their thumbs. AlwAys.

I can't sing through my nose and I've never been taught to take the breathe in through anything but the mouth. Its got to be a LOT of air in a very short time and nobody's nose is big enough unless....I guess they sing in a very quiet bhuddist choir maybe.

@@ElijahSantos61 You first need to build a habit and associate it with your daily routines. The first one I did is whenever I sit I will remember to check my tongue posture. The most effective habit that worked for me is to always remember to position my tongue on the roof of my palate as my final step before going to bed, It is also the first thing I notice whenever I wake up in the middle of the night. The first year might just be practicing and getting used to the feeling of your tongue on the roof of your palate while also trying things like they mention in the video(hard gums, jaw exercise tools, etc). After a year you'll find which of these methods are most effective and approachable for you and it'll just be as basic as breathing.

When I was 21, I had a wisdom tooth removed because it suddenly started pushing against stuff and causing constant pain. Its roots had a really bent shape, and it took the dentist 15 mins of prying to take it out. He said I had two more like it clearly visible in the scan, and they'd need removal in a few years. I started mewing shortly after that, and it quickly became second nature. I'm almost 28 now and I had zero issues with the other two wisdom teeth.

Speaking from years of nose breathing: check for allergies! Pollen, dust mites and food allergies are common. Your colon and your mouth-nasal area are made up of similar cells, that's why you can get a blocked nose from food you cannot digest well. It can happen with wheat, milk, and other things. People are different so you have to be aware of your symptoms and remember what you ate or did

I thought I was the only one thinking of this. Most the males in my family and some older women breathe with their mouths. I too mouth breathe when I sleep after a physically exhausting day. I noticed a few things with mouth breathing: 1)breath smells bad, 2)snoring when sleeping and 3)lack of fitness is visually apparent (which makes you unattractive).

When I worked in the oilsands, common slang for a goofball/idiot was “mouth breather.” When lining up for buses to go back to camp after a work day, all the mouth breathers would aggressively try to get to the front of the line. Then they would stand there, jaws agape, mouth breathing away. I noticed they all had a weird similar facial structure despite being obviously a wide range of face styles. This explains a lot.

It is wonderful that there is a way to overcome the negative results of mouth breathing on physical features! Allergies can lead to this, even when one takes antihistamines and/or decongestants. As for sleep, a bad bed or uncomfortable temperature can interfere with sleep. Unfortunately, beds cost money. I regret having had sinus surgery at 38 (didn't really need it and doctor should have known this but it was a teaching hospital where I worked.... Post op, when I took a deep breath through my nose, my nostrils clamped shut! No air! Took me years of exercise to overcome this somewhat. Then, when I received an inheritance at age 48 I had my teeth straightened (by the way, teeth continually move forward---that's why teeth get crowded eventually). Just before the braces came off, my entire mouth caved inward----a plaster cast showed a narrow mouth similar to a chimp! This was because I ate caramels as a kid and had every tooth filled with (black) mercury-silver fillings, so each tooth was an empty shell. In addition, I have allergies. Mouth breathing due to allergies is common. Given the clamped-shut nostrils effect of my surgery, it is a good thing that no one decided to tape my mouth!

As an older man of 64, I remember when I started boxing as a youngster, my trainer told me to chew hard gum, to strengthen your jaws. But strengthening your jaws was a known subject for fighters, for obvious reasons, which I'm sure still is.

I've had a deviated septum for the last 12ish years due to a punch to the nose. My doctor said it would be costly to fix, if it was even possible. He never said what the negative affects of a deviated septum were, so I left it. I've had sleep apnea ever since. On good days I can breathe through my left nostril, but almost never my right nostril. Most of the time I'm forced to breathe through my mouth. Now that I'm aware just how much that's been affecting me, I think it's time to see a specialist and get this fixed.

@westy1637 i got hit in face (across the nose) with a wrench. I had a similar issue for years. Saw an ENT ear nose and throat specialist out of Austin. Dr. Dan Slaughter. Fixed me right up. I can now breath through both nostrils. I have also lost weight and beat type 2 diabetes with diet and excercise of course. Thanks to the changes this surgery allowed.

I don't know about the chewing your food argument, I think that's more related to developing the facial muscles, but I definitely noticed a correlation between mouth breathers and poor bone development (including myself)

I just realized, now that I think about it, a lot of people I met through life and school, etc, who had a poor chin were mouth breathers. About chewing, thankfully my parents always told me to chew the bread crust instead of the middle, or just chew my food completely. Also my dentist told me the same thing when I was a kid. Never knew the importance of all these things until now

Braces usually can't fix underbites. That usually requires other kinds of orthodontistry. Invisalign can straighten your teeth but not realign your jaw.

I actually about 2 years ago adapted constantly having my tongue to the roof of my mouth when my mouth is closed because of that exact jawline study and this reminded me of that because It feels so natural to do now and i had forgotten i even set out to change that ha Pretty crazy how you can train something subconscious like that. For those who do try the tongue thing though, when you try to sleep or rest, be sure to relax your tongue a little bit. Having it pressed to the roof of your mouth I believe also can signal stress of sorts on your brain so it won't shut off as easily because it's having to work still. I do catch myself sometimes clenching my jaw down constantly from pushing my tongue to the roof of my mouth for prolonged periods of time. Therefor give it a rest when possible. I could be wrong but I think i read something like that somewhere and i it works for me from experience. Just my 2 cents ✌️

I am currently working on keeping my tongue in the correct posture. How long did it take for you to train yourself to unconsciously have it in the right position? I’ve been doing it for one week so far and still finding myself only being able to do it for short periods before I forget and have to recorrect.

Just try and always be aware more or less for a while about doing it cause that's what creates the subconscious thought to do it. I'd say for me it was probably 1 week it got easier and then 2 weeks I started to think less and less about it. Probably by 1 month it will more or less feel natural

you're right. tongue pressed to the roof of your mouth looks easy but it's not especially when you're sleeping. i noticed a hugeee difference after applying this technique and the funny part is i started doing it because i had such a big double chin even though I'm slim and active 😭 my gum health improved drastically, my double chin got a lot flatter (it didn't disappear but it doesn't look as bad now) also, i relax my jaw a bit with my tongue pressed at the top of my mouth, when i'm sleeping or sometimes when i notice i'm clenching it too hard, this way you're still breathing thru ur nose but there's no stress in ur jaw.

I had this problem growing up. Deviated septum, enlarged tonsils, enlarged adenoids, dental crowding. It ruined my entire childhood, I was sick 8 months out of the year, had braces for 4 years, 6 teeth removed, suffered in school. Things only started to change after getting surgery.

Same problem as a kid. I would have the worst ear infections every 2 months until my tonsils were removed in grade 3. I think I've only had 1 ear infection since then in 30+ years. I definitely need the deviated septum surgery now though. Nose has been smashed so many time I think I've probably got about 10% of breathing capacity out of it. Lol

He's right about everything besides jawsrsize. Don't use it as hard chewing on something that isn't food is a sympathetic response and could also worsen your face. Over long term use it could also damage your teeth. Mewing, proper tongue and neck posture is what you need to restore proper breathing and make more space for the airway which will tilt the maxilla backwards and that's what you need. Compensations can also start all the way down from the feet through the diaphragm and to the tongue.

I wish people would stop referring to the anatomical rest position of your mouth as "mewing" like it's some sort of exercise and not just how you should be letting your tongue sit in your mouth when you're not using your mouth. The benefits you get from it are not because of some faux aesthetic exercise. It's things that would naturally happen if you didn't need to give it a stupid name based on the dude who discovered the benefits of resting your tongue there and twist it into an exercise when it's not. Just so you can remember to stop leaving your tongue sit in your lower teeth.

I discovered late on to breathe through the nose and I retrained myself to exercise and work out (mainly boxing) and running by breathing through the nose and now I never tire. People come up to me and ask how can I hit the bags or the double end bag for 20 minutes straight without pausing or dropping my levels... It's all in breathing through the nose and learning breath control.

Thankfully my parents, specially my dad, would always correct me whenever he would hear me breathing from my nose. I learned at an early age to do salt water nose cleaning. What you do is mix a 16oz glass with a full tea spoon of salt (a bit more if you can), then mix it and finally inhale little by little this solution thru your nose. You will be amazed how much green mucus comes out and then just regular mucus. This practice kept me breathing normally and also prevent/cure colds, etc.

Ok just to clarify , the hard food are not meat or bones (it is stupid to think that people were chewing bones, they were only breaking the bone with something, after having cooked the animal, and drink the broth from the middle of the bone) , but the hard foods are raw vegetables and fruits. Chew your beetle-root, your carrots, not cook them, chew your dense dark (whole grain ) bread, chew your leafy green vegetables, that is the majority of your hard foods, you do not want to do anything stupid that will destroy your enamel.

The answer to the question at the end is: nutritional value of the food has decreased - in part due to the way we process for today, not just because of the way it's grown. Read "Cure tooth decay" for really good info on that. Solutions are there as well.

Another tip is to just chew sugar free gum everyday… 1) keeps your mouth fresh 2) you are always exercising your jaw muscles 3) gum is cheap and easy to get (make sure it’s sugar free tho so it doesn’t ruin your teeth)

Deviated septum here. I’ve had surgery and they said it may close up again. It’s been 4 years now and it’s damn near impossible to breathe through my nose unless I’m exercising hard. I ski 6 days a week so I get a lot of nose breathing in.

I got deviated septum because of boxing. It doesn’t really affect my breathing at this point but it could get worse if I get hit again. Most of the time breathing is the same as before, one nostril blocked because of allergies. But I get enough air in that I still don’t mouth breath.

Breathing in through the nose with the tongue located between the top of the incisors and the palate has been known in Chinese medicine and Qigong exercises for centuries. I add an "unknown" supplement: Exhalation must be done through the mouth AND the nose accompanied by a slight push from the throat to exhale. I saw a study that 50% of people with Sleep Apnea actually had a deviated septum. Insurance usually covered a CPAP machine not the surgery. So no fix. Telling them to tape mouth closed if truly not get enough air would bring on ailments that would take most of life to compound would happen very quick.

@@yellowscreen8591 I will tell you something that was very helpful to me I do a nasal rinse every morning with salt and warm water. It sounds disgusting but I use a squirt bottle go up one nostril down the other and switch nostrils and has helped me a lot just in case you wanted to know

Get an air purifier if you can. Cheap Xiaomi ones will do for your sleeping quarters. Inhale medicine intended for inhalation instead of drinking it. Clean up your sinuses using an ordinary sterile NaCl solution you can get in pharmacies.

I've always envied people that can breathe through their nose like normal. Ever since I was little, my nose is usually stopped up on one side, partially both sides, or completely on both sides. I've been on every type of allergy nose spray and pill, nothing ever cleared it up completely. Stacking at least 2 meds a pill and nose spray for the past few years lets me at least get enough air to breathe through my nose, but it's never completely cleared.

Sounds like it could be a deviated septum. Heard of people whose lives changed after getting the surgery done to fix it. Sounds like it can cause all sorts of issues. Also I heard that it’s actually normal for one side of your nose to be clogged and actually is part of some cycle your nasal cavity goes through with circulating blood. Anyway they said forcing yourself to breathe through your nose actually helps tell your nose to start clearing it up so it’s kinda counterintuitive but they say if it’s hard to breathe through your nose then breathe through your nose. Actually there are dentist that recommend to AVOID flossing (you are always cutting into the gums, constant injuries). But if you have inflammation in your gums, it is a problem if a person needs heart surgery. It is a low key strain on the immune system.

wow, this was so good. Short story. In the 90s I was a boxer (made fame as a sparring partner for some big names). Anyways, my nose got mangled, so did my bottom front teeth. I stopped boxing too. Then my jaw started to change over 5 to 10 years. I went from a models jaw to a face that looked like I got hit in the jaw by a truck. This explains everything.

Try face yoga. I started it about 1 year ago. Results are amazing. Train yourself to sleep with your mouth closed. I also use facial massage tools with oils to moisturize the skin.

I wonder if anybody has ever studied the possible effects on facial structure caused by beatboxing. I've been beatboxig for 14 years, and the last 4/5 have been pretty intense. When we (beatboxers) practice, it can get pretty intense regarding face muscles , so I think that maybe it may have some actual effects. The one I'm sure of is related to breathing: I'm not a mouth-breather anymore. To become a decent beatboxer you have to control your breathing, so I got used to breath through my nose, so I can keep on doing sounds not involving air with my mout.

This is a really good example of correlation doesn't equal causation. I'm sure in terms of not getting sick as often or sleep quality, breathing through your nose is better. However in the case of facial structure, it's much more likely that it determines people's natural breathing habits, and not the other way around.

Thats was my initial thought. There are actually studies though, a recent meta-analysis in 2022 that saw mixed results for most variables but there is evidence supporting retrognathism, maxillary retrusion etc from mouth breathing It’s a little annoying though, nowadays there’s this whole influencer culture where we got celebrity gurus that may be neuroscientists, psychologists etc who have some charisma and a cult following and start talking about scientific and non scientific subjects that are not part of their fields I would love to see the opinions on this of maxilofacial surgeons and plastic surgeons

I have massive jaw muscles. Honestly, I had a fairly varied diet, still North American, growing up. But I chewed gum a lot. What is lost in a lot of these studies is that you have two things, a massive amount of allergies, which make nasal breathing next to impossible for some people. The other thing is that it isn't so much the hardness of the food as it is the chewing action itself. In the "old times", everyone was chewing, almost all the time. The proverbial piece of straw stuck in the mouth meme, or the chew stick, but mostly people were CHEWING fibers to prepare them for use as flax or more commonly, nettles. You'd be at your work, chewing on some nettles, while up to something else, later you'd put those aside and chew some more while braiding previously prepared nettle fibers into cordage, because there was no hardware store to buy from. Everyone made cordage, everyone, well Nobles not withstanding. But the constant need for expendable cordage lead to a lot of chewing. Prior to the more modern eras where sugars were common, people's teeth health was better, and it had to do with all this chewing, at least in part. I've noted that kids these days don't chew gum like we did in the late 70s, early 80s, and yes, by the 90s the general jaw structure WAS changing. More to the point, the gum was also different. As you chewed it, the gum would get "tougher" over time. So you were literally working out your jaw. To the point that I got a bit of clicking jaw from doing it so much. Point being. Maybe an easy way to get your kids jaws working besides starving them into eating better (which, if they are like I was a kid, I would starve myself for 5 days at a time rather than eat something I didn't want to, as I had the will power to resist and endure discomfort and challenge, something that has lasted into adulthood). Go chew some natural gum kids, you will also tend to breath through your nose while doing so. For thousands of years the human jaw has a been a fiber processing machine of choice for humanity. Put it back to work.

Make sure you have equal amount of sticks of gum in on each side or else u will get jaw pain . Start with 1 or 2 in each side and u can work up to 5. Mike mew used to use 10 total

I'd completely forgotten until reading your comment but growing up in the 90s there was chewing gum 'spots' EVERYWHERE on the footpaths. Now they're all but gone, haven't had gum in my shoes in years. And I don't think people all started putting it in the bins either, there's too much other rubbish on the ground to contradict that theory!

It is interesting if you are willing to go past the part when he says he runs once a week it is a long run and he only nose breathe. It’s a quite inefficient breathing method when running and would make your heart rate climb, which is not very great to optimize running potential and breathing / heart rate efficiency.

The after pics are definitely instagrammed compared to the before where the tone and structure of the face are improved as one would see these days on any selfies. I'd believe it if the quality and conditions of the before and after photos are equal.

do not do chewing toy exercises, they can perma fuck up ur jaw, just stop eating soft food and do medical tape at night, meeing barely works too believe it or not, dont trust ppl, just close ur mouth is good enuf

I’ve tried so many times to become a nose breather but every time I eventually just go to mostly mouth breathing bc I’m too self conscious of the noise you make when you breathe through your nose. No matter how clear your nose is people can hear you breathing through your nose much louder than mouth breathing. Weird reason but some other anxious folks can prob relate

You shouldn't feel uncomfortable making noises, taking up space, etc. That's your anxiety talking, really nobody cares. Try to practice doing things you think will annoy people on purpose and I promise there will be no consequences. And once you realize that, your life will improve 10 fold!! In other words, if someone has a problem with you breathing, they can shove it.

I understand what you mean, I used to be anxious to make any sound that Would interrupt something. Like opening a bag of chips or eating something crunchy. I don't find nose breathing makes any sounds & tbh I like the sound of breathing if it's kind of slow & relaxed. BUT the comments here before mine are amazing 👏 Take UP SPACE.
