I wonder how the "machine learning" algo works here. Couldn't this be achieved with a convolution reverb type plugin using sounds instead of impulse responses?

Basically, we used Machine Learning to design super-complex convolution (sort of) to achieve the magic!

Has anyone given much thought to an idea that these AI tools undermine the work of actually creative people working with audio? People who have developed complex systems to articulate their concepts and creativity within their unique methodology? I'm referring to the people that have put much time and work into developing an aesthetic through experimental process. I think the results of these insta-tools are often wonderful, but there is no artistic process by simply buying one to achieve something that came from a creative person's methodology. Which is of course incredibly important to an artist. I understand that music is fun, especially the attachment of fantasy and idolatry, but for some people the experience of experimentation and creation go beyond a superficial ego charge. It's a journey and the result is only a small part of that. I'm concerned that the area of culture that electronic music is attached to, in ways, is being completely commercialised and turned into a primarily consumerist cycle of capitalism. KZfaq is of course at the heart of the issue. It's potent in engaging new hobbyists in marketing and turning beloved culture into materialism. Diluting the passion into trendy consumerism for toys to slap the backs of other toys.

Unlike other text-to-music tools, we designed this plugin specifically for individuals who are dedicated to sonic experimentation. Our goal is to enable them to use our tools to innovate new music and music-making processes. Essentially, we're aiming to create a new synthesizer, or rather, a new sampling technology. @@naotokui Facts. From my experience Neutone are in the game of AI sound design tools that try to push sonic boundaries. I often have to put in alot of work to get something great out. There is a art to this

I genuinely feel like you don't know what music production is ..? Why are you describing it like these "creatives" singlehandedly created the concept of...morphing a sound? How would you even manually achieve this specific tone? It doesn't sound like a traditional instrument.

@dffgffffffdddddddddd specify what you mean by morphing. I don't believe that you "genuinely" think that. I think that people who have made innovative electronic music used innovative techniques that that were developed over time to create unique aesthetics. Bypassing the creative process by using tools that generate outcomes that would take years to develop, by the right kind of mind, is culturally tacky. Like using loop packs to create hip hop. That's fucking lame. So some toy can pretend they are a part of a culture which put great value on the come up. It's earned, not bought. If you can't understand that you are a toy. A person not deserving of respect within the culture. It's a pretty simple argument. There will be a push back against lazy AI using simps

you are giving the illusion that it is an audio morphing, in reality it is a mixing of two sounds controlled in ination, in real time. true audio morphing takes into account the formant existing in the two sounds, to pass from one sound to the other in such an imperceptible way that the human being can distinguish at what point the transformation actually took place. unfortunately your system is still primitive: 30 years ago the first demonstration samples came out online, of which the audio quality was very poor, but the morphing was far superior to what you propose. When I hear a real morphing sound, I will I live to offer you a system that could revolutionize the way of offering music through audio morphing. Thanks for listening. I am amazed that the A.
