Nevada fire officials: ‘Polar Pods’ could save lives in heat waves

24 күн бұрынWith the continuing heat wave in Las Vegas Henderson fire department has added Polar Pods to their heat related medical responses. They can drop a patient's core body temperature in a controlled manner in cases of heat related illness.

Simple, easy to carry and probably pretty cheap. Hope other fire departments look into this product.

nope.. name of the game is to drop temperature fast as possible.

@patrickosmium733 ... cause you could always defib later, right? Any leads, pulse ox, or o2 delivery in conjunction with various thermometers?... just wondering. That ice machine better not break down. Thanks for the info!
