Love it when a nice sharp blade is throwing out chips like hash browns. I remember doing some stump removal work and how hard that was on the sacrificial old blade I used for the job. Even after water washing and in sandy no-rock soil, the blade went dull quickly. You never saw such polished and glistening chainsaw teeth though! If I had to work in a rocky stump, I'd try one of those carbide tipped chains.

How do you use those beautiful cut wood? Can you show us the final product? That would be most interesting for a city folk like me.

Sharpening a saw chain takes on a new meaning when the chain is almost 12' long. Not sure how well they cut wood but a chain for a concrete saw mat be nice to have when you get really low on a stump where dirt and rocks are as thick as the wood. In the end you've got some beautiful slabs to play with from a piece that is usually burned. Just being able to uproot a stump that size is rare unless the wind and rain did it for you. Seems you have plenty of rain to keep ground soft.

Well, A++ for perseverance! Obviously that oak grew on stony ground. I'm pretty sure that I would have given up after three or four stones maximum! 🙂 He surely must have sharpened his chain down to nothing! I hope it was worth all that effort.

Ребята к пильщику вопросов нет, вро де бы парень норм, делает все правильно, но здесь ситуация из жизни, когда надо сказать стоп или взять паузу, парень хотел управиться с этим пнем до обеда, но пень оказался из семейства дубовых )))))) и по этому мы видим все признаки эмоций и ненависти к этому пьню с заходом солнца , отломаные куски, испорченные заготовки и постоянное желание его отслоить ----это не правильно с профессиональной точки зрения, причем в любой сфере деятельности, вот вам наглядный пример к чему приводит чрезмерное упорство другими словами (сломя голову)... Терпения , терпения вам и еще раз терпения и все получится... Уверен если бы вы прекратили работу по закату и приехали бы на следующий день , вы бы с ним справились за час)))))) Но это все го лишь наблюдения из практики, без обид. Удачи Вам.....

There is a reason you don't see too many tables made from the bottom section of the tree root ball. Those rocks and gravel will be inside the wood on the older trees as the roots grow around the rocks. Now you know why those types of tabletops are so expensive.

Ребята, точить цепь напильником, особенно такую длинную, после кирпича, камня или гвоздя - бесполезное занятие! Вам нужен заточной станок. Для автономности лучше аккумуляторный станок.

That has to be a VERY EXPENSIVE chain saw. Hell a 16 inch saw pushes close to 400 dollars
