I'm doing a lot of dead slide when reloading the weapon or when I go to change weapons. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, maybe it's the fact that I have the habit of playing with the shilt pressed all the time... I'm not sure.

To activate the slide jump with weapons holstered you need to take ~1 step before sliding. But with your weapons out, you need to take ~3 steps before sliding or you'll dead slide! Hope this helps and Welcome to the channel!

How do you slide jump when you under constant fire does it reset infinitely till you are dead/ they miss or can you slide jump after a certain amount of bullets taken

It only affects you after the first bullet, then you should be able to slide after 2-3 steps. It won't keep affecting you after the first bullet. Hope this helps and welcome to the channel!
