Tbh, I think he lost his love for the game a few years ago, to the extent he even resigned from his national team. Young Ozil though, he was probably the most god gifted assister ever, easily creating more chances than playmaking goats, his vision was unparalleled. Unfortunately, he went to Arsenal at a period the owners were no longer backing the club, as well as him losing his passion for the game due to the racism and islamophobia he had to deal with.

After the pandemic started Arsenal decided they weren't going to pay the salary for their mascot as he obviously wasn't needed at games. Ozil said he'd pay for their mascots salary out of his own pocket for as long as he was at the club. Such a class act and I say that as an Everton fan. Shame Arteta dropped him from the first team.

Its weird.. growing up playing football, its not actually the ball control at our feet thats the problem. Most kids from england can run super fast with a ball. Its all about watching and anticipating your opponents movement. We kinda always know where the ball is while at our feet. Its second nature... Its moving your opponent and out guessing him...
