@@tkraft82 Yes, it is. And no, it doesn't. My current fave though, is Vigilante Shit. She burns Scooter to the ground in that one. But honestly, just about everything she's done since she came back from the self imposed exile instigated by being set up, has just been phenomenal. I keep hearing people say that she's "leaning into" the lies and criticisms. I don't think so. She slithered right into that "snake" skin, and wears it proudly now. And I couldn't be happier for her.

This song is about her then boyfriend Joe Alwyn. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor said that the inspiration for “Don’t Blame Me” came from her personal life. She stated that the song was about “the feeling when you first fall for someone and you know you’re going to fall hard” and “the feeling of not being able to get enough of someone, to the point where you start to feel like you might be addicted to them.” ❤

Yes, Dr. TAS has a very large bag of tricks. She graces us with the belting very sparingly, because she just doesn't need to. Most of her songs are lyrically and story-telling driven. If you watch the full concert, you find out at the verrrrry end that she had a COLD during the whole show. Because eventually her nose is running too much or something and a stage hand has to pass her a tissue, so she admits it with some embarrassment. This kind of performance with a COLD?!?! Now that’s what makes me crazy.

I was there when they filmed this @ At&T Stadium in Arlington, TX for the Netflix Special . I was on the floor, back row center stage. I could feel the heat when the flames went off during the concert. Best concert I have been to in my life. I love the rep Era!!!

I love these reaction videos so many people are doing on Taylor's songs. Especially the guys. They're all so shocked at how good she is, and how her music has matured. None of the male vocalist who started young seem to get a surprised reaction when their music matures. This is just a continuation of the dissing she endured over the fact that a lot of her music is about real things, and people, in her life. And as she succinctly stated, guys do it all the time, and nobody bats an eye. But she does it, and people act like it's something sketchy. 🙄 She's grown now. my first time seeing taylor was in denver during the reputation tour and i've been a fan since her 1st album and i just couldn't go to shows til i was older , and the surprise song me my sis and bff got was Teardrops On My Guitar (it's from her 1st album) so that concert was one of the best i've been to for a few different reasons but the don't blame me performance took me to church for real lol love the reactions so far! one recomendation for you is Should've Said No live she does an amazing job on it! I’m really curious what you’ll think about her earlier stuff now that you have an appreciation for her lyricism and excellent songwriting craft. You’re on a similar journey I went on, but once I *got it* her earlier discography opened up to me. I still don’t love her first two albums but you really can see the seeds of genius even in her debut album. I would recommend working your way backwards through her albums. Go to 1989 next (yes the “white t-shirt” one) and start with “Blank Space”. She wrote it from the perspective of her public image of being a crazy serial dater that can’t keep a man. I also recommend you check out her Grammy museum and NPR Tiny Desk performances, they’re all solo acoustic and so good. It could be a good way for you to hear the songs that have turned you off from her in the past, there’s something about the acoustic versions that allow you to appreciate the song underneath all the production.

i think she saves her big vocals for live shows, which is pretty smart. saves her voice and it's a bit more special when we don't get it all the time.
