For everyone who didnt understand the video The petrol from fuel tank needs to be drained before parceling . They drain it by sucking using a tube and also put a cloth in the fuel tank and wipe the insides to drain the petrol contents . Unfortunately a piece of cloth was stuck inside the tank and blocked the fuel pump in this case . Also this is a "fuel injector" based fuel system bike and not like normal carburettor type . As fuel is completely removed ,we should only try to start the bike only after filling the tank with petrol . Even if we casually try to start , it will affect the fuel system .. Here the cloth damaged the fuel pump and was luckily replaced with warranty claim

Transferring bike in train is always risky. I had also took my bike from Bangalore to my home town safely . One thing you can do to make sure it is safe is that Make sure when they onboard your bike in parcel van, please be there and make sure no one put heavy luggage on your bike. And also ask from parcel guy that where where this parcel van will open then at that time also please be present there and at last while off boarding the bike. Damage occurs not due to parcel guy or railways, it occurs when labour put different parcels in parcel van, at that time it causes damage

Dear friends, that's why I did with the Delhivery courier through road transportation from Bangalore to Guwahati and it was so well managed and packed nicely.

I had a short circuit while riding to Bhutan!! Late in the night at 4am we err leaving from Siliguri and the bike won’t start!! We did everything for 2 hours till 6 am and it dint work! We had to reach out to RE and they helped us at 11 am just when we approached them!! But this is a really good info about taking care of FI engine!! Thanks

Transporting bike in a train is always a risk. I recently did my ladakh trip carrying bike from Mumbai to Chandigarh. The experience was not pleasant but luckily we managed to complete the trip and bring the bike safely back to Mumbai.

We pack the whole bike ourselves and tip the packers at Railway station and also gift them the drained fuel for free just to avoid this situation. Even then you’ll have small dents and scratches which is unavoidable as the bikes are unloaded by a different team at your destination

The railway parcel employees (out sourced) who load and unload the bikes are untrained and are least bothered about others things. I had booked by vintage bullet which is 52 yrs old from Coimbatore to Bangalore. And travelled in the same train. Alighted at Bangalore SBC and went to the luggage van and to my surprise the idiot was pushing the bike out all alone. I screamed at him and the contractor brought couple of guys and got it down. Meanwhile that single fellow had already damages the mudguard and broke the reflector and the indicator. I must have rode the bike but did not want to stress by bull..

This is clearly a mishap while packaging. So just make sure you are there when the pack your bike or do it by yourself. Anyways train is cheepest and convinenet way for moving bikes.
