In part 9 of the truck bed camping road trip, I'm fly fishing a stream that was loaded with trout. This stream was amazing. Every hole held a beautiful cutthroat! The scenery was also spectacular! I end the day camping in this amazing valley!

Beautiful stream and fish. Many of your places I recognize, as I am older and have fished these states for a lot of years. I don't recognize this one, because it looks like 15 others that I have fished. 🙃 I respect that you don't advertise the names or locations. Thank you for that. These small remote streams are treasures to be enjoyed when you stumble onto them.

This reminds me of my youth working on a tug on the east coast I would Work 20 on 10 off I fished every day for 20 years salt in winter fresh in summer Being able to do that is a great life at 65 I will tell you it comes with a price , with all the places I've fished I'm getting to a point where starting a family late and Not saving a lot of money my thoughts of retirement are not what I thought they would be not so much financially but the places I've been fortunate enough to fish I don't think I'm as able as when I was young ,but wouldn't change a thing !

Don't sleep on the whitefish! They are a native species, they fight hard and they are a sign of a healthy fishery. Many a slow day has been saved by cooperative whiteys! I’m not scolding you just a friendly FYI. HOO YAH Drew for your great videos and great adventures!! I would love to do what you do but I’m alittle to old at this point!🤪😩. My experience in Montana is that you really ned to fish from a drifting boat when going through someone's ranch. The local fishing guides are very valuable when it comes to knowing where to put a boat into a steam and exactly where to take it out several miles down stream. You will notice that just about any back road crossing a stream will have the bridge barbed wired to prevent people with an attitude from entering a stream by climbing down the embankment.

OK Drew, Great Video. Love those cutthroats. But!!!! You need to start saying the names of the streams. Not, where you access them, but at least let us know what stream it is. It won't make any difference. The locals already know where to go. Us out of towners may only hit the stream once in ten years. So come on!!
