You picked a good day. Because Sunday was literally packed. The parking lot was about 75 percent full. They said something about 87000 people.

We went a few weeks back when it was raining on and off rhe entire day and got a zen ride on Diamondback! That was also a perfect day to go. No wait was longer than 5 minutes.

This reminds me of the first time we went to Six Flags Over Texas when I was a kid. It was the end of the summer and I think all of the schools in Dallas were starting before San Antonio. It was like we had the whole park to ourselves. The main attraction was the Shockwave double Loop roller coaster and you can see it right from the freeway it was cool. I didn't ride it until a few years later. The runaway mine train and mini mine trains were our favorites.

One ride I will never forget was Wind Seeker at Kings Dominion. When I got to the top, the fireworks were exploding, and 2001 Space Odyssey was playing at the climax. Maybe the best ride I have EVER had.

I was there the same day, and I couldn't believe how everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was a walk-on! I lapped Mystic Timbers like 15 times.

I went for my first time on the 14th and it was the exact same, every ride walk on - 32 rides in at the end of the day about 7 on mystic, 5 on orion, 4 on diamondback, 4 on backlot... Also so you guys walking past at Cedar Point on the day where everything was closed for 4 hours for a thunderstorm, with a Waldameer shirt on (which annoyed me because it was closed on the one day we could go, literally drove under Ravine Flyer 2)

The best thing about the last week of regular season business is that even if everyone does find out about how empty parks are, most people still won't come because of school and stuff. Really wish I could have made to KI one more time this year. My last visit to Cedar Point last year was amazing. Millie 5 times back to back walk ons, 2 maverick and two steve that had about 3 minutes wait. I only left because I didn't realize that I am too old to marathon steve and I got sick. May just go all day on Millie this year.

All they need is a Maverick or Steel Vengeance and dead days like this probably wouldn’t exist.

Love Banshee. I love that the max speed comes almost at the middle of the ride. One of the most underrated coasters in my opinion.

I went to cedar point for the first time on the Sunday before 4th of July and I rode everything in the park twice with no fast lanes and the park closed at 6 because of rain.

I’ve been going to Kings Island since The Beast was built in 1979! Man it’s never been this dead! Would’ve loved to had been there to ride! My Prestige Pass would’ve been perfect! Multi rides and all

It wasn't dead on Saturday. Not real busy, but definitely not dead like this. Orion only had like a 30 min wait at the longest. That to me is pretty a pretty slow day. Beast did have a pretty long wait for the night rides though.

I wish I could be so lucky to go to CP or K I and have it be that dead ! Has NEVER happened to me except in a dream !
