I don’t think so, this game hasn’t really grabbed me, where as that game has the spider-man swinging and object physics. Right off the bat that game has a draw, where as this is just another anime game. But a more gta type open world, gotcha fatigue is defiantly setting in. Zzz got away with it because the world building and story are so engaging and the combat. Is smooth. And wuwa has great combat and character design.

Optimization. It’s much much harder than you think to create seem less transitions that can hide loading screens. The lack of loading screens in this game doesn’t mean there wasn’t any loading, they just hide it well.

Honestly this really looks fire. People comparing it to genshin, wuwa, and zzz but I also want to appreciate the years of efforts made by the devs here. I like the urban scenery. I can get the vibes of how the tokyo portrays on the anime. But what catches me the most was the domain, it looks insane and creative -- the transition and animation was so fire! But I feel like this game was so heavy for ordinary devices, for sure it wont be available on mobile, maybe~ just look at the reflections on the tiles inside the buildings and the wetty roads outside. Also it looks like another waifu game that will only cater male players, disregarding the potential from other demographics again.

@@Ashito_Kiyokuniunreal engine, notice when first wuwa released it lagged a lot for mobile and iPad users, this is its also a UE 5 and they didn’t used unity like genshin did, that’s why genshin plays so smoothly in mobile or iPad. Unlike wuwa still requires high end devices to use on phones, I can tell this game might also need good devices for it to work.

It's a shame that the anime open world games now are empty and there's nothing to do. Animals are just decorations, vehicles are just decorations/statues, there is no physical interaction with NPCs, no animation of eating and drinking, etc. They forget how to make Fun games with full feature. I'm looking forward to this game

I'm mainly a Genshin player. For a long time, I would like to see a major change to the anime-themed open-world RPG instead of very similar mechanics to Genshin. NtE will be the best example of a great major change, and it will probably be my main game after Genshin becomes EoL, unless they ruined the game experience. Looking forward for the NtE release~

Besides saying the obvious look alikes, this does look good and I do want to try it out, just make sure it's polished before launching it. Also, make the HUD more unique. It looks the same as every other gacha game and a unique and more stylized HUD will help the game stand out from the crowd more.

The game remind me of mixed elements from different game like Genshin for open world, Wuthering waves for the intro/outro skills in combat and the modern street/cities in Zenless. Rather than hating, calling this game or that game a “cheap” knock-off and focus on popular game (like genshin), i would say let it be and wait till it releases for better review. Some people might like it, some people don’t. This specific thing existed in this specific game but it doesn’t mean other game can’t have that. And who knows ? Maybe genshin player might like this game too.

The thing is Genshin started the trend and now everyone is catching up with it on polished designs so much that other games are showing up conviently around the same time as other titles that were announced/demo teased several months back. As long as its the same general game designs of: -Mobile game. -BotW type traversal. -Open world. Then its impossible for them to be NOT constantly brought up, especially if its doing a large number of things that Gen`stingie has ignored doing for over 5 years. Which ultimately is the fun of `low budget` and more dedicated developers towards pushing things then settling for mediocrity and taking advantage of other aspects to `make the moneyz`. The only way to `focus on enjoying the unique details` is if the game somehow is completely original with no way to relate to any previous games, which is impossible since the `City` traversal trope has been done even since Playstation 1~2 era titles with things like Spiderman and what not and even before that we had 16~32bit side scrolling beat`m ups of going screen to screen in a urban like area with so many titles its hard to drag any out that i even remember the names of.

I knew Hotta had some promise coz they had some really great ideas with ToF (although the execution was a bit lacking) but this was really clean. The instance dungeon kinda thing right in the middle of the streets, the kinda good car driving, the walking in and out of buildings/stores/conbini without any cut scenes, the anti gravity run and most importantly you can literally jump out of your condo and glide into the streets without any cut scene. These are all something you never expect to see in a Gacha. Hope the polish and the great ideas in this trailer remain till the end. Altho it was okay, they should probably put some more effort into Combat. Combat being only flashy without any weight will not be satisfying.

Tof used by hotta as research and development for this game, so you understand that why this game looks very polished compared to tof. They keep learning, their style and polish-ness pretty much what current state of tof looks like, way different than 2 years ago of tof. Not to mention, they have way less staffs than wuwa and genshin, iirc only 100 for this game compared wuwa with 400 and genshin with thousand

I spend on both game for some reason, on tof I got a6 weapon only with $150 because they have cheaper bundle that refresh every patch but in genshin I spent $100 only for one copy 5star because genshin has no cheaper bundle, you pay 1600 for 10 pull while in tof you can get 10 pulls for like 1000 from bundle. Tof gacha for people who has no gambling addiction and know what to do is cheaper than any mhoyo even kuro game. If you talk about greed as paid skin, it's same with genshin or any other game like nikke that release skin, it is paid skin, it's supposed to be paid with money not free resources

My review so far: Pros: - Amazing graphics - Cool exploration - Systems besides character related progression Cons: - Kinda underwhelming combat - Somewhat bland character designs - Same people behind Tower of Fantasy More stuff to say but that’s what stood out to me the most. Hopeful for more great changes. Hope Hotta actually improved since ToF.

Most of the time, it will be one of Hoyo games. Edit: After done watching, I am REALLY looking forward to this. Like, anime RPG combat + GTA free roam like + Car with interior cam and modifications? That is amazing! I hope dev increase car sounds too because I can hear its sound pretty good but its like 6 rpm = 3 rpm sound. Also, I'm glad they bring that unique walking based on the platform of buildings and such from ToF to this game.

@@Atmo-sp I agree with you. While the optimization seems very good, we don't know the computer its running on and its likely very high specs. Although, the main thing this game does very well is transition from indoors to outdoor areas and the transitions to distorted areas were very well done. The driving was cool too; I do wish games could get driving right if you wanted to be a law abiding citizen. I do wish every other open world game I played had no loading screens to indoor areas.

I feel like this is made for mid to high end pc. Some scenes have seamless transitions and i love it. If the game comes out with the peomised features, it might have a good feature. Now if you ask me if this could actually rival Genshin, if this game came out very polished and within the year of Genshin release, most definitely it can compete or take over it, in terms of overall checklist. But the things is, Genshin is made for almost all devices to be playable. And like Apple's iPhone, they've monopolized the market and genre of anime open world gacha game. I'm sorry, but i just cant see our phones at the moment being able to play this type of game. Even if we do have the phones to run this game, there will be people who will complain that it doesn't meet the specs requirement. I can only hope a good future for this game.

This is pretty much tof remake. Idk why including zzz, game not even openworld and staged combat too. Idk with hsr while the game is turn based. If you think about wall running, tof already have wall running gadget for months. If you think about "urban" tof already have small urban cyberpunk style map since 1 year ago. This game combat is more on tof too, even they still use some of the moveset like saki discharge and even the jump and small running are same with tof
