There have been matches this season where the quality of finishing has cost us a few points, but when everyone is fit and we're playing at the right tempo we do have goals in the team because there are lots of players who can chip in with goals. I think one of the key areas of improvement identified from last season by Mikel was improving defensively because in the run-in we dropped two 2-0 leads(Liverpool and West Ham), conceded 3 at home to 20th placed Southampton, conceded 4 against City, and 3 against Brighton. That's probably why we signed Rice, Timber and Raya - unfortunately Timber hasn't played because of injury and Raya's performances have been indifferent. We still are conceding a few cheap goals, but overall we're conceding fewer chances than last season. If we do win the league, it will be by keeping that solidity and cutting out the mistakes.
