YUP... 12428 and clones, too fast and too high a CG for their own good. they'll about roll over if you sneeze. do like my Virhuck V-01 I patterned after Steve's (ShenRC), softening suspension and tiny 10t pinion for a Traxxas (just got 108 mm tires for it, are as big as it'll take). SWAY BAR.. oh hey now. the 12428's etc with the taller pinion and drift tires... they do it REALLY well, definitely worth playing with! if its same shocks as all the others, carefully slice the center tube from a couple round servo grommets (spare WPL stuff) to make your 4 oil seals for the stock shocks. automotive 30 wt for the rears and light grease in those little front ones does great. for that truck/style, you might put 1/4" tubing on the rods inside the shock bodies, cut 1.5 turns off all 4 coil springs and re-flatten the new ends. it'll MAKE it sit lower and soften the preload to match. not as much travel but might help it not turtle so easy. on the servo arm should be a 2nd hole a little nearer the center, moving the ball there is only a little less steering throw but less stress on wimpy stock servo is a good thing!

This reminds me a little of the HPI Mini Trophy - adding the rear sway bar was a great move, showing as it does that Feyiue are prepared to accept that their first go at this chassis could do with improvement.

I just love these cars, and this one looks awesome. The swaybars are a great addition. Love the full cage. I'd even consider making panels for the cage. Feiyue are definitely stepping up their game. The 2845 4300kv would be perfect for it.

Love the looks of that truck. And it seems to perform well enough for a good time. I almost pulled the trigger on the fy03 🤔 might change my mind now

The purpose for the outrunner is it is supposed to have more torque and less speed. Try doing some type of climbing with it and see how it performs.

Feiyu keeps releasing these nice rc's and I keep buying them.I love my fy03h just don't like the plastic beadlock rims cuz they can't handle all the torque

Looks really good. I got excited by the sway bar but I can't tell how big a difference it's making. A comparison on tarmac would be good. I find most stuff rolls easier on grass, especially if you slide into it coming from a loose surface, the suddenly grip is a death sentence even for well planted vehicles. Another decent budget truck from China though. Love the look of it and the full cage. You could run it with no body and it would still look awesome.

hope the build quality has improved i have the six-wheel-drive version for a few years now worked great for the 1st 4 runs then i had to replace lots of parts and its ongoing great vid

Now that's a nice looking truck Phil. Seems to have a good turn of speed and handles reasonably well as stock. I like the blue colour more than the orange and silver, and not being a fan of loads of decals too I think yours looks just right. Did you find the rear left mudflap after the run?

Love the solid rear axle and the body. Really good scale representation of a real Baja truck. Wonder what it does when you put a lipo in it. Saw a video of these shocks being upgraded to oil filled shocks with some o-rings and some Teflon tape. Should make it a pretty decent truck altogether. Another thing, is the body clear where the lights stickers go? I see some proper light buckets so that would be great....

I'm confused I just got the fy08 and for some reason the trigger gets reversed. Sometimes when turn it on the pull trigger it goes forward and then next time it goes reverse any ideas?

The switchable steering on the controller seems like a good idea but kind of pointless. I'm left handed but just like everyone else drive "right handed". Since nearly all transmitters are right hand only even left handers are used to driving that way.

Question Tomley Rc. The first week. Truck was great. Never been bashed. Only around the house with my young Son. And today. Was the first day we placed it in kids mode. After switching back with a fresh battery after about 3 mins. Sounded like the gears was stripped. Took apart, couldn't find anything wrong with it. In my hands. Runs and sound fine. Place it on the ground barely moves. With a clanking or grinding sound. With no power hardly. Is the motor already burnt up. It's only 8 days old. Banggood is not wanting to help me at all. Because the box wasn't worth saving so I threw it away. Do I just need to replace the airplane motor and ESC. Or what. I was told to stick with Amazon. Which I am from now own. I just don't want to have wasted my money.

The battery can easily be changed to a 2s Lipo to make it a lot faster

I literally got mine yesterday. Already have a problem with it. Maybe you can help. Runs flat out for about 5 seconds, stops and won't go although steering still works. Let it sit for a few seconds and it goes again and repeats problem. Battery is fully charged. ?????I have no idea what it is. Help

Calling 1/12 is close but seems tp be more of abtrue 1/10 scale. I have the Thunder Tech Racing Pro 2 Short course truck that is true 1/10 and seems about same size as this. But much better quality than this. Either way seems like cool little truck
