Enhancement is in such a weird space in the game right now. We are Awful in PvP, but we are the strongest PvE DPS right now. We have the highest consistent parses across mythic raids, heroic and mythic plus. Yet on the ladder you will find 1 maybe 2 enhancement shamans above gladiator lol

I managed to get like 2150 as enh in solo shuffle. I felt bad because it feels like i'm shit but knowing how bad they are makes me feel better lol. Their damage is honestly okay if not decent. It's just all their defensive's is healing which gets butchered 30 seconds into a match

Honestly, Ench and Ret are support specs. For example even as it is Ench + Arms is probably one of the best options against a wizard cleave. Being able to ground these huge glacial spikes and bolts or arcane surges, its very strong. And a low CD ranged kick. But playing a support spec sucks and we don't really have a wizard dominated ladder. So It got put to bench.

I will say, the Destro lock buffs LOOK nice on paper but in reality they don't matter as much as people like to think they are. The harsh reality is that destro is one of the easiest specs in the game to shut down and keep shut down. Chaos bolt isn't a button that you get the option to use most of the time. You're still going to be mostly reliant on your instant damage, the only thing changing is that what few bolts you do get off will actually feel impactful. So I don't expect destro to be some god tier spec except in BGs

Destro literally just won an AWC tournament, idk what else a spec has to do to be "god tier." Sure Chaos Bolt isn't a huge part of their damage, but it can crit for 100k+ in pvp right now, and it's getting a pretty huge increase, meaning that even Chaos Bolt, which is their least scary spell right now, might also be threatening. Regardless, the spec is clearly very strong right now, so any buffs just push it higher.

Havoc, arms and assassin is what i concider really good in shuffle. However, if the rouge suck, they suck. If you don't rotate correct on a rouge you gonna blow up. Unholy is also great and super fun (my main), but i do not concider the class the best one in pvp. RBGs, maybe unholy is up there as the best class, but not in 3v3. Arms warrirors never seem to fail tho, they are so tanky. Same goes for havoc, they just get in, avoid and get out to easy. Destro warlocks seem to struggle a bit in shuffle. If they get focus, they often die and can't get away.

I'm hoping the buff to dispelling UA for aff lock will make them more viable. I don't think it'll help with getting kills, but atleast we won't be getting dispelled as much. I switched from affliction to destro and immediately went up 200 rating in mmr as I was LEARNING my rotation and playstyle lol.

it won't, realistically you won't get to enjoy the new changes aside from frost strike and frost fever cause as soon as you put down dnd to cleave ppl leave and you can't hit them

I am not a pro by any means, but using healing spheres is clunky, they have what seems to be an activation time and by then my melee has run away from them, haha. That coupled with now taking damage from UA, I wonder if any pros still think it will be viable due to its clunkiness.

They can’t figure out what makes monk a fun healer. Many changes since BFA but always behind other healers, always. Healer playstyle turned into non-casting healing sytle. If you need to cast all day long, you are behind of other healers who don’t need to. Look at Evokers, druids or even resto shamans who don’t need to cast a lot. As a monk, you need to stand like a tree and cast

Fury's buffs just weren't enough, the Tier Set bonus's are largely unused; also some of its proc abilities that proc on Bloodthirst & Raging Blow don't proc on Bloodbath and Crushing Blow. The last few days of this week I've fallen from 1850cr to 1460cr, as other players improve their gear and complete their sets their burst damage continues to ramp, Fury just cannot compete. It's not that wee have no strengths, we have a selection of Leech abilities that allow us to win fights in the late game, but getting into the late game is something that happens less & less as the season goes on.

Man don't sleep on boomy in solo shuffle with the 4 piece tier set. The sheer stupidity of the amount of damage you can dump on one person if you call a target is crazy. If the healer doesn't figure it out immediately you can blow someone up before everyone uses their cool downs.

I don't see the sphere change being worth most of the time in SS. The backlash from removing spriest, shaman, and warlock dots was probably the best niche for the talent. This interrupts your soothing channel, and expecting people to run through after set up reliably seems ambitious. In rated games, it might be worth in some cases. Four of the honor talents are so good, I'm not seeing too many scenarios where you would run sphere over the others.

IMO both Fury and Ret are low A tier, not B tier. Fury is still very strong on ST if it has the proper uptime and there is a sustained build of Ret that makes them really dangereous. The only issue it has is uptime but that is a problem against 2 specs; Mage and Lock, against other specs it won't have such an issue and the sustained DPS build will do its job. Ranged list seems spot on.

I don't agree with the frost mage move up. I think it's hard-stuck at B tier, good but not great. Outside of that and MW monks moving up, I agree completely.

It almost seems like most of these rankings are determined by the damage output in regard to the Malay in DPS classes. I love my elemental shaman‘s damage output, but when it comes to defenses, it’s sucks. I get trained every single solo shuffle, and it goes downhill from there. Elemental shaman damage output is S tier, survival is C tier. At least that’s my opinion. This whole list should really be adjusted.

nobody uses your healing spheres, and as someone who plays disc, prevoker, and mw, I can say that as of today MW is still the weakest feeling healer of all 3, and I'm a MW main. It feels much worse than my disc, and considerably worse than my prevoker.

I think DH is still S tier. It has some of the highest damage, best defenses and highest mobility while still bringing strong utility. And it has no hard counters.

Increase the bleeds damage for fury warriors so 1. Single minded fury is viable 2. Annihilator bleed builds are viable. 3 make raging blow and onslaught and ravager do more damage. Bastion ravager combo in solo que and 3’s would be great to watch and play.

In regards to destro lock i find alot of youtubers are overlooking the situation of damage.. They are removing our bane of havoc to stop us wiping full raid groups(this has been done in random epic bgs) With the buff to cahos bolt theyve fixed the class. The destruction warlock spec is intended to have big hard hitting spells. This is where lock is currently at in my opinion. The only change theyve made is a reduction to our cleave. A buff to cahos bolt will remove alot of RNG brough onto the spec via bane of havoc. Now with this change it will allow me to 100% guaranteed get kills under the correct circumstances with chaos bolt. Its a big nerf to our cleave but really if you want to cleave as destro you should run rain of fire like the old days its not supposed to be a cleave focused class its supposed to be long casts with big damageing spells. We will still have omega damage but just not for a full 10 man team which is understandable. Ive been playing lock this expac so far and cannot wait for the changes to the class :)
