Agreed. I prefer ARRMA simply because I like the way their vehicles look and how the internals look more. Purely preference. Also, I tend to stay ARRMA just because I already have the right chargers, batteries/connectors and spare parts are interchangeable.

I'm glad arrmas putting out these new cars. They aren't perfect, but they're really trying to improve what they have and create some good stuff. I don't think it's going to be an xmaxx killer, but definitely a competitor. I can't really complain though, more options in the "5th scale" category for us.

That Outcast looks to be pretty good all in all. I really don't get the whole Traxxas vs Arrma thing. Just go with what you like, I don't think you'll lose either way. I have several Traxxas and the one Arrma, I'm happy with both.

Same. Only RCs that I had until watching Kev were Tamiyas (not that there anything wrong with that). But watching this guy has got me into the bigger stuff from Arrma and traxxas. Though I am a long way off being able to afford anything like and Xmaxx 😆

This is my favorite R/C car. I got an xmaxx recently, and I still like the outcast 8s better. The way it looks, the sound, and the handling is great! Very well engineered R/C

Thanks for the vid Kev!! It seems the 8S OutKast doesn’t have the ability for stunts and thrills like the 6S. It appears to be just to dang heavy! I have a Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 and just ordered the Armma Kraton EXB. My next one is the XMAXX baby!! Still waiting on the Arama as they keep pushing the date back!!!

Your one of the reasons why I got back into the hobby. Also just put a castle creations sidewinder 3 brushless motor and esc in my traxxas slash 2wd ran 3 cell and it needs a sock full of change to keep the front down.

You need to keep the ic5 connectors and get some smart batteries for that. You are getting rid of all the smart features by cutting off those connectors.

I have the Xmaxx, Kraton 8s and the Outcast 8s. The Outcast is probably my best choice. It's an absolute beast. I don't jump it as high as some people but I bash it HARD over dirt, sand, rocks, mudd, grass, water and I haven't had to do a thing to it (other than the standard cleanings/lubrications) and the truck has had zero issues and not a single part has broken. Today I was at a wet, muddy, rocky construction site and it just chewed it up. Really impressed with Arma and how durable their products are.

Just got mine, first run was on 6s, jumped great and back flipped easily. Very happy so far, need to put in the 23 tooth pinion.

Graphene batts rock!Outcast 6s is my all time fave,looking forward to owning one of these soon. Is a 4s outcast really necessary if you have the 6s in the barn already? It'd be tough for me to enjoy a slower version after owning the 6. Keep it up.

Wow... The Outcast took a hammering. That flat out run off that ramp, truck must have flew 70 ft & Chassis still straight 👌 Only a shock rod end after all that bashing. Arrma made a Winner there & Looks Amazing. Kevin how close a fit is that Outcast 8s body shell for the Kraton 8s?? TIA

4:18 well the raminator is 1/5 scale of a monster truck and the outcast is based of a regular truck so it's like comparing a stock chevy/ford to a monster truck 2x the size

I have the out ast 8s now as well as the kraton 8s and currently my krston 8s is in the shop getting roughly 7 upgrades and 5 repairs but so far the outcast is fun as hell but doesn't feel out the box like its as fast as it suppose to be

Hey kev, will you make a video on the losi super baja rey. It seems to be really cool and nearly bulletproof like the outcast 4s. Also seems like it takes more of a beating than the xmaxx can.
