I get why people like the rs6 but for me it's to big and bulky, the 4 is sleek and better proposition.

I had one of the previous generation RS4's. The 4.2 NA V8. Which revved to 9,000rpm and was the original engine in the R8 and prior to that was in a Lamborghini and it sounded AMAZING. I also preferred the look of the previous generation RS4. BUT, it had 444 bhp and 430NM. So it actually had LESS torque than the S4 from that era (which was my previous car and had 440NM.). Popping the torque up to 620NM... That has got to change things... A LOT!

Is that woodpecker sound your camera mount vibrating? Very irritating..... But great presentation of a great car.... Beautiful in that colour too.

James, I am so, so jealous! It's been a huge dream of my to set foot on every continent, in my lifetime... and for Africa, the very 1st place I'll go is Marrakesh; where I'm dying to go rock climbing in the Atlas mountains! (Were the Atlas mountains as gorgeous as I've seen in pics?) But on top, you get to drive my fav Audi, the baby RS4 to the big boy RS6 - always seemed to be just the right size, to my mind. Absolute sweet spot if you need more room than the rs3 hatchback version. Better residuals over a rs7 as long as you don't tick every box and care about money. And I prefer this interior over the dual touchscreen on most of them now

For me the perfect RS. Rs6 looks more spectacular but for UK this is just right. Size, engine, the lot.

For most of the car enthusiast population this would be all that you need. Sport when you need it, but still provides a comfort and practicality that is paramount for a daily. I love that colour as well, oh and your backdrop for the video is on point!! Be safe :)

I think your reviews are really brilliant. I always think there's a chap I could have a beer with, very funny and bloody interesting. The camera work on this review wasn't very good, the car doesn't look as sharp as it should have, don't know what camera you were using but didn't work correctly. You have done so much better before, sorry mate, but content 11/10 camera work a 5/10, guess I wouldn't be getting that invite to the pub then.

Agility and lightness...that s the point man...I'm recently totally on these points....power and torque achieved in general are incredible...but the pleasure of driving and usability are about lightness...definitely

I love the RS range... The fact they are high powered station wagons make them more appealing. Wow can't believe you got through to Marrakesh with all the Corona Virus travel restrictions.

I think the RS6 looks alot meaner and the V8 sounds so good but honestly I'm pretty sure you can make like 530 hp pretty easily in the RS4 with some upgrades, and its 30 grand/pounds less

Would love to see rs4 wagon in the usa . We had a4 all track or all road. It's a a4 wagon but it has a 2.0L turbo.

It looks absolutely stunning and amazing. Everything in my eyes is perfect, the only thing I think is a shame, is that the "cabin sound" now sounds worse than the previous "non"facelift model, i know the sound is "fake" but NOW it sounds even worse AND more fake to me ;/

I like the previous gen exterior styling better. Also hate the touchscreen.

8:20 i have the exact same reasoning, i have an a6 allroad 320hp, i just moved from belgium to the UK, will now swap it for a a4 allroad, maybe an rs4. i find my a6 allroad a bit too bulky for the uk, let alone a rs6. uk roads are fun and beautiful, but also small, you just have to be much more cautious driving a fat car in the UK which would mean less fun.

unfortunately doesnt have the dual clutch transmission and 5cylinder from the RS3 and doesnt have the rumbling V8 from the RS6.

If I could I'd buy this and the previous v8 model at the same time 😂....... And maybe the rs6 v10 model too

Dear, JWW! I really love your videos. There is one thing though that is mostly... well, shit. The sound. Please buy a Shure or Sennheiser mic for capturing your voice. The onboard mounted camera sound is absolutely not good enough, especially when it's not EQ edited (the low end frequecies are terrible to listen to while you're speaking). At least some "low cut" has to be made, when using camera audio. And then there's the backtrack and voice difference. The cool music comes on and sounds nicely loud, and then you speak and I can bearly hear anything. Whoever edits your videos needs to start using a compressor for the audio tracks! Otherwise, viewers gonna have to keep pressing or twisting the volume knob back and forth. Like the recent AM Speedster video - can't properly hear what you guys are discussing, I crank up the volume and then BOOM the backtrack plays with a volume not heard previously on this planet. Ouch. Cheers!
