I just got back from the bow shop after buying one of these. I can't wait to shoot it. Dude working there was kinda busy so I'm going back tomorrow to get it all set up. I've never had a bow shop set up any of my bows, I've always done it myself but I figure I should do it right with this bow. I feel like it deserves to be setup properly.

I got my Terrain beginning of 2023. Easy to setup and tune. Build quality is ok, but not more. For example is the riser not flat on the rear stabilizer mount. As a result the side bar bracket kept coming loose again and again. Paint on the cams chips easy. Unfortunately the strings are a bummer. The yoke serving unraveld within the first 200 shots. Fixed it and went on shooting. Half a year of constant 3 D training, tournaments and so on the lower cam ate it's way half way thru the buss cable serving due to rub/contact to the module. Had to retune the bow on a regular basis every two months or so. Strings not so great, everything else is fine with this bow.

"It's a new cam we came out with this year and we've had a lot of success with it so far." How is that even possible?

they test it for a while and sometimes send them out to archers, like Mathews did with Chris Bee.

meaningless marketing speak. In spite of the presentation, it looks to be a pretty sweet option for a youth bow etc.

How does this bow compare to the bear Alaskan??? The riser looks better but performance looks behind. Just wondering without shooting either.

I chuckle at the comment about liking that new color. They just come in solid colors these days, which still works. There's nothing special about that, however. It's nice to see mid-priced bows offered like this, however.

Why are Elite and PSE putting the good geometry on the mid priced stuff? Somebody please make a 33” ATA with a 7” brace and flagship features. Smooth, accurate and forgiving is more important than making sure 5’8” can have a fast bow.
@jayminer9416 Жыл бұрын
This is 1/2in shorter ATA WITH the 7" brace. It's really a great bow.

@@jayminer9416 I just ordered the new PSE Mach 34. Companies are starting to listen to archers. If you want incredible forgiveness and accuracy, try a 34” ata with a 7” brace. Geometry matters.

$700 for a hybrid cam that shoots 325ibo. They could do better. Hybrid cams used to win the speed war. This bow is only 32ata should not be shooting this slow. If it was built for the Hunter it should be a little fast this isn't a spots bow.
@peterpizzurro94102 жыл бұрын
Most if not all faster hybrid cam bows that shoot faster are cam specific. You lose efficiency when you have such a broad draw range built in.
@capricornmagic632 жыл бұрын
I would advise anyone wanting to buy a bow, do not listen to any of these guys. They are glorified salesmen. Go to a shop try the bow, see how it performs and buy it based on that. A good pro will ask you questions in terms of what your objectives are etc, they'll present you with options for you to try. Don't fall for any ' gimmick ' technology. What they call technology on a bow are features. Don't fall for they hype. The John Dudleys of the world are employed by the bow companies to sell bows. Try before you buy.
@terrywolford7880 Жыл бұрын
Definitely try before you buy if possible. But these are definitely good bows backed up by a great warranty and made in the USA. All I can say is watch the reviews. But they are not the only great bows but they compete well. Now I sound like a salesman but I'm definitely not. I have gone forward in time and see how some of this plays out. LOL
