Hi, I’m waiting for mine. But now I see ST2 and ST3 and I saw some differences in the dashboard. I hope mine have the digital dashboard because I choose the pack performance 3 door. Can u tell me what’s the difference between the ST2 and ST3?

@@franciscopaiva244 ST2 has 17” wheels, no digital clocks and no limited slip differential. ST3 has 18” wheels, digital clocks and a limited slip differential.

@@Rapid0808 For now I don't know when to expect the delivery. I ordered in august 2021. Then order was changed for facelifted model in the middle of december.

@@mogersgooglification Yes, magnetic metalic I think it was called in the catalogue. Funny enough, I actually got a car in Mean green ;D Couldn't wait any longer, my temporary car was about to die. Found three cars in dealers couple kilometers away, and just picked one up in mean green (all of them were green). This car is a blast!

You should be given the facelift in my opinion due to the long wait you have had! Please Feedback your results to us in a future video as others will find the useful 👍

Im in the same boat. Ordered july 2021 a mk8 ST3 3 door.that eventually got cancelled and moved over to the mk8.5.ST. Was told project build date march /April 2022. Still nothing and Ford are now saying nothing is showing on their systems. But i was told that those people who placed orders in 2021 that got cancelled would get priority,we will see.🤔🤨

I think it has android auto and apple car play but I am unsure if this is wireless or if you have to plug it in.

I ordered one at the end of January was told it would be ready in May but Ford had a problem with the oil separator in the 1.5 3 cylinder engines & put everything on hold till they found a fix. It’s sorted now been told end of July now

I ordered I in January st 3 boundless blue dealer called on Friday and asked if we could go in we did he took us to a mean green st3 and said its this or nothing or money back no more fiestas getting made need to talk to your dealer

I'm trying to cancel my order but dealer not being helpful so far, would be good if I could throw this at them also. I was told in April that production was suspended for Fiesta and Focus until at least September. Is it just Fiesta ST that is affected or will production of any Fiesta never resume?

@@jonathang922 It’s the same with all fiestas if you look at comments on Facebook posts of Ford adverts for the fiesta the focus is worse because some of the parts come from Ukraine 🇺🇦

@@jamesbrowne7601 thanks James, Scots Gaz mentioned that his dealer told him no more fiestas are getting made. So we're not talking delays but no car at all, ever? My dealer has gone quiet after a call from me to cancel so I'd like to know if production is permanently stopped so the cancellation is not just my fault/decision.

I like both and for a fun hot hatch the green does give a more special feeling when you drive it! However, the grey also looks great and is a bit more subtle so for day to day that might be the one to go for. If you are wanting a fun hot hatch just for the weekend I would go for the mean green to add that extra but of flair and specialness to the ST 👍

I personally would go ST3. ST2 will give you 17" wheels rather than the 18", no digital dash and it does not come as standard with the performance pack like the ST3 does which will give you the LSD. You can get an ST2 and option the performance pack but then the price inches closer to ST3 anyway. For me its ST3 you have the option to choose between the two 👍

Unfortunately I think I’m gonna have to go ST2 cos it’s the only way I can get a three door, I’m lucky enough that my local dealer has a 3dr ST2 sat on its forecourt with my name on currently. I’ll just have to mod the hell out of it after 😂

Ah I would have a 3 door over a 5 door and the ST2 is not the end of the world. You can fit nice wheels, maybe the ones from the MK8 performance edition or ST edition, plus also an LSD if needed 🎉

@@SamAustin Exactly what I’m thinking. I would much rather have the sporty look of the 3 door and build on it from there rather than get the 5 door with all the bells and whistles and feel disappointed down the line. The LSD is the only thing I’ll miss immediately but I can get one of those fitted somewhere down the line.

I found the ST-Line really fun to drive but this is a full on ST so it's more of a serious car with firmer suspension etc.

@@Hoopa96 The problem with those orders from this time is that you ran into the full covid plant shutdown in Cologne last year. And furthermore you had to cancel your pre facelift order and re-order it as a facelift, which also means you almost doubled your delivery time. As far as it seems from this point, the delivery time of 5 to 6 months can be hold, but yes, I don't expect it to be here before August or September, since the Cologne plant is hanging behind with about 30.000 Fiesta.

@@SamAustin Thank you alot. I really love the new digital dashboard and the awesome matrix led headlights! What I dont like is that mirror folding, BLIS and mirror heating are gone since the semiconductor shortage forced Ford to remove the door modules to be able to build the Ford Fiesta.

@@Crandor I had been told by my dealership that my change of order for a facelift model would be registered as a « replacement order » which would imply me recieving it earlier than new orders. Considering how Germany and UK already recieved many, I think it was either a lie or completly forgotten by Ford in Cologne’s plant. Im trying to make things speed up by asking my dealership to resolve this case with the factory itself but its still taking some time

Yes the owner actually delayed it also so that it could go on a 22 plate! I have not even seen a facelifted fiesta on the road let alone an ST! It was great to see it in person and you will for sure enjoy yours when it arrives 🎉

@@SamAustin I had no choice but to delay it and have it build under the 22 Facelift. Went from a Blue performance one to a Mean Grean with 5 doors, performance pack, B&O soundsystem and some other nice features for Winter. Can't wait to actually have it produced and delivered. Sad news is that so far, the Factory and my Dealership is telling me around August/September for now, even though I had it ordered early May 2021, I feel like my order was forgotten and new orders are being built before mine ^^'

Yes I have heard lots of people still are waiting for there’s, i managed to get mine only 20mins from where I live so I guess I got lucky indeed :)

I think your Focus RS is just as fun as an ST. I have driven both back to back and I would say they are both great fun cars so you only need one of them 🙂

@@SamAustin The RS is a keeper along with my Escort RS, but I need a new daily, thats why I'm considering the ST, I would have gone for a Yaris GR but they are not taking orders any more, and I'd like to be in the under £30k bracket otherwise I will start looking at the big boys toys. Ive seen a few videos and the wheel hop /'axle tramp' under hard launching looks horrendous and is putting me off! I cannot see how Ford signed off when the car has that issue.

Are these on the new st3?

and the sunglasses holder above the centre console & interior lock/unlock door button :((( I have noticed a load of missing features. Apart from that my new ST3 in magnetic grey is a beast

I've owned the old MK7.5 Fiesta ST for 4 years but do not own the new MK8. I have however driven the MK8.5 Facelift today which I will share on my channel in the next video so you will be able to see my feedback there! It was a 3 door in mean green 😁

I had put down a deposit for the i20n, then saw this car and got refunded and put down deposit on this one and not looked back :D (Friend has one which I drive but I much prefer the ST)

Had previous St model. Awesome car. But, I now have i20n, performance blue with black roof. Ordered last June, took delivery January. Another awesome car. Very happy..

How is 200hp not enough for a fiesta hatchback in this price too. You people are never satisfied and judge everything without thinking what it would cost to get more power. There's classes and bigger cars for a reason....

I've got mine 6000 miles over 4 years for £266 a month and £266 deposit But I've been waiting since October 2021 to actually receive the car

My guess is it is to save on manufacturing costs from Ford. Still looks great from the front though 👍
