Yes, I do also...the LED lights would be useless without the battery in addition to the solar panel.

Hook a chain to the holes on the waterpump which would reach the bottom and it will serve as an anchor 😊

I got this from the range for around 13 quid. It's OK in direct sunlight but if the pond is slightly shaded the pump just pulses jets of water every two or three seconds. For the lights to work for any sustained time the unit must have several hours of sunlight.
