About the grading system:
All grades are relative to a car's respective category. For example: an SUV's score cannot be compared to a sportscar's. Different segments are graded differently.
I lean toward and prioritize performance on my scale. Suspension reflects the balance between handling and firmness of the ride, but also varies based on class of car (i.e. a luxury SUV is all about luxury, therefore suspension score is graded based on luxury and not handling). Power is about straight-line speed, which is affected by power-to-weight. Interior takes into account aesthetics, ergonomics, material and build quality. Design is highly subjective and nothing but personal preference. Likewise, so is sound.

I often mention performance figures in my reviews. I lost some footage while making this one and had to re-shoot. But for the inquisitive, per C&D: 0-60: 4.3 1/4: 12.8 @ 109MPH. This car isn't short on power.

Hate to say it but, if you are not able to tell the difference between an L405 and the new one...well, then. Pretty much says alot. Good to have a perspectives.

The two shark fins are one for radio and another for the camera. Come on, fm/am have always been on radios, no need for two antennas. 😂

I should've been a little clearer about that. There's a few reasons, radio IS one of them. They couldn't use just one shark fin, because the car still requires a traditional antennae for the sat radio, FM, and AM. But when you have the panoramic sunroof, 1 antenna would have reception issues, so they add the second antenna. In order to integrate more such as that camera, they had to add the camera into the secondary shark fin, so that doubles as both signal booster and camera housing. Volvo simply ditched AM radio, altogether. So their cars with pano roofs, don't have dual fins.

It's a "veneer", according to LR. So the top layer is wood, but underneath that is plastic.

I don’t see this new 2023 Range Rover doing very well. These days we’re being spoiled by all the luxury and high-tech in the Escalade. I’ve tried both and the Escalade is more stable and not as bouncy as this Range Rover. These days the Escalade is unrivaled with the level of integration with the flowing, beautiful 38 inch 4K OLED Screen and Super Cruise. Is just too easy to choose the superior technology of the Escalade. This new Range Rover is in need of a redesign interior wise, add an autonomous system get rid of all the slapped on screens and add better looking seats.
