In this video, we will be having a walk-around showing you the Exterior and Interior Features of the NEW 2024 Mercedes Benz CLE53 AMG Coupe!
The Mercedes-AMG CLE Coupé: New entry into the performance coupé segment
• The latest generation MBUX with AMG-specific functions and displays
• Mild-hybrid six-cylinder in-line engine with double turbocharging and starter-generator
• Fully variable all-wheel drive and active rear-axle steering
Affalterbach. With the new CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe
, Mercedes-AMG is sharpening its product portfolio and redefining the entry-level
performance coupé segment. The sporty, elegant two-door model combines the best of two worlds: the agility
and sportiness of the C-Class with the space and status of the E-Class. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line engine
with double charging via an exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric additional compressor has been
thoroughly modified and produces now 330 kW (449 hp). It provides a maximum torque of 560 Nm (with
over-boost of 600 Nm for 12 seconds). The integrated starter generator briefly supplies an additional 17 kW (23 hp) of power and 205 Nm of torque. It also feeds the 48-volt on-board electrical system. Other technical features of the new model include the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.
Typical visual identifying features of a coupé are the long hood embedded in the front end with two powerful power domes. The strongly sloping windshield and the elongated roof that slopes towards the rear also reference this. The passenger cell, which is set far back, leads to the sporty, short rear via the rear window,
which is also flat.

btw all AMG 53 with M256 have speaker amplified Sound, always. Drive an E450 in comparison then you know why... Even C63S in C205 had this since OPF.

0-100 real test 3.8 is very fast of Old or old 63 but I like more 43es 63 es and V6 looks luxury daily.

I drive a CLs53 myself and this is even quieter than a 400 6 cylinder. Will there be a difference between European and us spec? I will straight pipe it anyway 😂

Please do a better job at showing the full side view of the cars. Pause, no cutaways, no rapid moving camera, just please back up a bit and pause on the side view so we can truly see the cars. Thanks in advance.

On an AMG 53, you can only get the nice startup sound with the upshift paddel. That's at least how it works on my CLS53...

@gabrielcropano805 It's a 2019 and yes, kt doesn't do anything while pressing the Downshift Paddel. Even in Sport+...

@gabrielcropano805 just remember to select Sport+ before starting the engine. It will sound good without you using the upshift. But it will be much louder with upshift engaged. But using downshift will kill the sound completely. At least it's how my 53 behave...

Was thinking the same, a nice spec of a few year old S63 coupe with like 90k kilometers on it is currently about the same as a fully speced out brand new CLE 53...better sound vs newer technology. S63 has pretty high maintenance costs though and we know those add up with older used models, don't forget about that, could be annoying.

@@mikefun7482 I‘d say you have to calculate in about 2000 euros per year for the standard service, but on top of that you have to add costs for parts wearing out, new steel breaks for the S63 for example are about 8000 euros, if the carbon-ceramic breaks need to be replaced it’s about 25k Euros, just to name a few examples, so if you’re unlucky and the used car has some issues down the road, costs add up quickly with the S Coupe.

@@juliphililp7904 If they do price wise for UK maker it must over £140k, the GT is sitting at £170k and the CLE 53 is about £90 full speck, just think it would be expensive compared to the 53 with a V6.

Nothing is more boring than almost an entire video from the behind the steering wheel. That shows us next to nothing. Rolling footage of the car is the best. Look at Remove Before Race as an example on how it's done right.

This is an awkward looking car. The rear looks good by itself, but then when you see the side view of the car, the rear doesn't look good, and doesn't flow with the rest of the car. This car just doesn't look right.
