BMW R 1300 GS Adventure 2025 is here!
The appearance of the new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is sure to attract attention. The big GS is not only visually different from its almost dainty sister. Never before have seating comfort, ergonomics and wind and weather protection been so harmoniously combined with precise handling, exceptional suspension comfort and smooth running.
The legendary twin-cylinder boxer engine is once again at the heart of the new
R 1300 GS Adventure. The new design, first introduced on the R 1300 GS, is much more compact than its predecessor thanks to a transmission located under the engine and a new arrangement of the camshaft drive. It generates 107 kW (145 hp) from 1,300 cc at 7,750 rpm. Maximum torque is 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This makes it by far the most powerful BMW boxer engine ever to be produced in series.

Looks like my current 2023MY 1250GS Trophy is the last GS I’ll buy. 1150GS, 1200GS, 1200GSA and finally the 1250GSA.

Congratulation on your taste! I am sure there would be some people like you liking it but I am with the majority and simply consider it as a distasteful design! No way I would be forking out money for this agricultural machine!!!

Not sure where styling cues came from, Transformer movie? Great technology as always but not sure at what cost. Speaking of cost, has to be 30+ before bags. Initial reactions makes one think this is going to be a tough sell to many.

I am completely disappointed in the design. Terrible shape and visuality. The BMW GS design team needs to be completely changed. Italian design team needs to get to work

All GSes are ugly, yet I sort of like the styling of this model. The guy mentioned that the assisted shift also helps manouvering. I wonder about that. As far as I see it you cannot do the combination of friction zone and back brake. Next to my bikes I also have a maxi scooter, the CVT is great except for manouvering. Must be me. I also missed any information about the weight of this new GSA. Looks relevant to me...

I like the idea with the front tank and front panniers... I've been loading tank panniers for years...very handy and great added fairing wind and body/indicator protection....but the look of that silver panel is just dorky. I think people will get them painted to better blend in to conceal the goofy look.

What the h*** BMW is thinking about??? My father’s tractor Massey Ferguson looks much better! BMW should have recovered from R1300GS design but that one is even uglier! I’m staying away and would not even buy it for a half price!
