Hot chocolate is made with milk. Hot cocoa is made with water. I’ve never heated chocolate milk to make hot chocolate, but it’s the same ingredients

So Ive always had hot chocolate made with milk. It's just a lot more creamy and hot chocolate madw with water is water with some chocolate mixed in. I totally agree with Lauren

i think the difference is: chocolate milk is MILK with CHOCOLATE... and hot coco is CHOCOLATE with MILK.

I used to be a Barista at Starbucks & a coffee shop called Black Rock & when we made a kids hot chocolate we would heat up the chocolate milk but at Starbucks we would mix chocolate syrup & milk... not once using water😂😅

I LOVE hot chocolate! The way I've always made mine is I boil water on the stove, add it to mug with hot chocolate mix, and then add some milk. It makes it creamier that way! Yum! Cove is the cutest by the way! 🙂❤

3 loads a week sounds amazing. I have three kids and we have to do 2-3 loads a day or we get really behind. I do love seeing Cove’s cute little outfits though and how you organize it all. Best dressed baby!

Okay I think what Lauren said about the hot chocolate milk is litterally just hot chocolate milk. In Canada the normal thing to do is make hot chocolate with boiled water and the mix which is like chocolate powder and then add milk to make it creamier or to cool it down. However at McDonald’s and Starbucks they make it with cows milk and it’s super creamy.

I love chocolate milk!!!! To make our hot chocolate we warm up milk then put chocolate powder, we also do the same for chocolate milk just not heated

I used both water and milk, I heat up water, add the mix, then use milk to cool it down a bit. It really good!!!!

I was OBSESSED with chocolate milk while I was pregnant. I had a glass or 2 a day. My baby was born a month ago and I’ve had 1 glass of only white milk since then 😂

It literally says on a hot chocolate packet you can do milk or water . 🤷♀️it’s good both ways just like milk and hot chocolate mix with some ice is a really good frozen hot chocolate:3

The only way you can make hot chocolate with water instead of milk is buy using powdered hot chocolate mix. Then you can chose to use either water or milk because there is milk powder in the hot chocolate mix

At my coffee shop our hot chocolate is steamed chocolate milk :)

hot cocoa can be heated with water or milk. It is less creamy than hot chocolate, but the powder is more concentrated than hot cocoa and has a more concentrated chocolatey taste. Cocoa butter, a vegetable fat, in hot chocolate coats the palate and minimizes the flavor.

3 loads of laundry a week is nothing lol we do 3-4 loads a day!! But that’s with 4 adults in one house And for hot chocolate, I make it without water and add milk just to cool it down haha
