Finally, been waiting for months for this!

I'm so excited for this upgrade, but I'm rather disappointed that there has been zero mention of the XLR output modules for quite some time. Those are the primary reason I got the RMC-1 in the first place, and they're not even mentioned...

Keep up the great work folks. I'm currently saving for a pair of XB2 speakers and the TA2 integrated amp.

Emotiva makes the most well built hardware, maybe tied with Marantz. Makes my Anthem look like a $300 receiver.

I am excited about it too. I am ready for the HDMI upgrade. I bought the MR-1 late last year, and that was one of the things I wanted fixed. I don't mind the menu, but I really wish that you could change the color. The blue washes out and sometimes you can't tell what you have selected.

Just hope there adding dts pro. Because my wide channels don't really come alive after all that wiring its a no show.

The hardware updates I got in person at Axpona last year and I could be wrong but I don’t think there are any changes. Maybe the HDMI board? The other half of this are the software or feature changes. What are those?

What's the scoop on the MR1 upgrades

i reallly want to get the BasX MR1 11.2 Channel Dolby Atmos® & DTS:X™ Cinema Receiver but my wife is giving me a hard time because its her living room you know how wife's are....its her living room and i want to know if i can get it in white case everything else blue is good ive tied email but no reply so im asking here could you do it ?

I appreciate the effort Emotiva is doing but would be happy if they make this quicker for the current user to upgrade their system because that is one (the software and HDMI) of the most hated thing on Emotiva processor mostly out weighs the great benefits they have. Once this is done it would make Emotiva top class system. Adding Raspberry module is the best thing will surely get this system to go over and beyond in processor like Anthem AVM 70, Marantz and will place right below Trinnov but may surpass in price to performance ratio. Please do it quicker I am eagerly waiting. I have emotiva RMC-1L processor, amplifier, all my 7.2.4 speaker are Emotiva speaker. Great setup only regret with the performance of processor being buggy, slow, low HDMI output performance and lack of any wireless connectivity.

Are there XB1 speakers in the works? The 2s are a bit out of the range I’m willing to spend for my use case

Oh, I just discovered the TI PCM1795 192khz-24bit is just used in my old ONKYO TX-NR5008 ( and the PR-SC) ..it,s a huge step down from the AKM-4490 😯😯😯😮😮😮😮

Awesome podcast, will RMC-1+ be available with expansion modules when it gets released to increase the channel count? If it can support more channels than 19 at the time of release this product can give Anthem AVM 90 & Marantz AV 10 run for their money

Is it possible to purchase and diy swap the hdmi board by itself? Also, nearly 7 years and counting... no mention of the output modules? Come on guys... you hyped that feature to sell units and still crickets.

TI DACs are big deal breaker for me. You can't be serious about these DACs in a highend product.

​ I'm also looking forward to the new version of the Emotiva XMC-2 processor 🙂 However, I would like to draw a little attention to the podcast itself. Because I think it can be run better. What I'm specifically talking about here is the way the CEO of Emotiva conducts the conversation. It sometimes seems "weak" and unprofessional when he publicly questions and "reprimands" his employees. Of course, they try to turn the boss's "jokes" into a joke, but it still looks unprofessional and a superior should not speak to his employees in such a way. He should have more respect for them. That's the impression I got, do you agree with me?
