EA has made it obvious power ups are used to upgrade MSPs but now the new MSPs dont require power ups so now I have a bunch of power ups and nothing to do with them

I traded in the free event cards like suter and grinded a bit to get that 98 kadri. Finished all of his challenges to get him to 99 in 2 hrs, and now there’s an even better one and I’m out of cards to trade in..? I’m fucking sick.

hate this MSP system, frankly - i wouldn’t have bothered with this event if I hadn’t gotten super lucky and pulled 98 kadri in a pack probably gonna grab gomez, just to trade him in for PUC’s and finish upgrading XF matt tkachuk

I am not going to try to get 50 goals with Gomez. If I can pull it off great but I rather focus on completing suter’s objectives

this objective path would be ok earlier in the year but at this point many have been playing away for basically useless 94s that we thought would be useful to trade to PUCs to make MSPs. Just annoyed that EA keeps changing the path after you think you have it figured out. would not have wasted my time making the 94s to just sit in my collection

The way they are doing msps is horrible. Earlier it was cool that they were giving us lots of ways to get power up collectables but now theyre pretty much useless. If they want to do it this new goofy ass way fine, but how about offering an alternate way using power up collectables rather than rendering them useless. On a positive nite its cool that they are giving players a chance to earn decent cards especially for new players.

I don’t like having to trade cards in to get a card. It’s actually not cost effective

Toe drag shots by NHL drafts is not working. I have 1 out 60 but nothing seems to work. Ok I got it to work. I have to use total control but why? Can we not toe drag in skill setting? EA is making some dumb decisions.

NHL 16 Draft champions Malholtra and Gomez were free and much more fun to collect than this. And that game was HOT TRASH. Get your shit together EA.

Formats ok, it’s just a lot of time spent playing the computer offline. Honestly they need to do something with the servers and gameplay. Gameplay is so brutal, you can totally outplay someone online and lose a game 1-0 because the goalie decided to be god. The next game you get into you score 5 goals in the first lol. If your telling me they would need to go full out new gen systems ps5 and so forth to get better game play I would already have a ps5 ordered. You literally play to score glitch goals in this game if your an average player *raises hand* pretty brutal online

No matter what EA does people will still complain… I’ve literally never been given so many free cards in HUT each week like never… Sure you have to play to earn them but I can literally make any Xfactor, Power up icon, MSP cards all without having to spend a single dime on this game just by playing the game I can make cards, Get rid of cards, Switch up my team at any time without having to spend actual money… I remember in NHL 22 if you did not spend 10 thousand dollars on packs in a 6 month period or get really lucky with rewards your team was most likely mediocre… Team of the years were horrible to obtain same with fantasy cards, MSPs were an absolute mess and had time limits on them and if you didn’t make them in that timeframe the price would be more to make them… This game is not perfect but EA is literally making this game free to play and that’s a big W… But people will always cry and complain no matter what…
