*WOW* , I have never done a plaster technique but I feel this would would be *STUNNING* on a large canvas/wall art piece. I can imagine this in a small powder room for jaw dropping drama.

Thanks for the video. Have you ever tried this product on plaster rather than drywall? (I live in a 1920's house that still has lath and plaster walls.)

Hi there! No I have not, but I bet it would look beautiful. I would definitely do a sample area first. Maybe in a closet or someplace not noticeable.😉

How does this finish wash up? I have a farm, occasionally I have to bring a baby llama in, or a bird. Messes happen easy. I like the finish a lot.

How cute is that! I have had no problem cleaning dirt off, but I would be careful putting it in high traffic areas. I did this finish in my bathroom and my dog scratched a small area. I was able to blend the area with a little leftover LusterStone. 😁🙂

I like this faux texture. I have been attempting to do the faux brick. I wish you would remake that video with out any (hidden because of client) missed steps. Tried the washi tape. It's working, but I want to do my faux brick on foam boards so I can take with me when I move. I chose black. Q? Can I add paint to the plaster? So it goes on reddish brown?

I can’t wait to hear how your brick turned out! The only step I skipped was a hand-painted sign with my clients last name on it. I rolled the clearcoat on with a mini roller.😊😊 You absolutely could add paint to theJoint compound, but keep in mind it will dry considerably lighter than the color you’re wanting. One time I add red paint to my joint compound and when it dried it was more of a pink, terra-cotta color. 🤪🤪 Not really pretty. There are some other plaster products out there that are tintable and come in colors.

Thanks💕!. Once I am comfortable with the process, and do it, I will likely share it with you on instagram. I have not ever used polycrylic. I have a can of shellac, I was thinking of using to seal it. My goal is to use behind my stove. And maybe behind my electric fireplace.

@@MBMCincy63 You got this girl! The polycrylic is so easy to use, it’s water-based, easy clean up, non-yellowing and low order. 😉

Can this plaster be applied over knock-down texture?

Absolutely! I have a applied this plaster in several different ways. I would definitely advise doing a sample first. You may have to use a float trowel (grout trowel) to avoid skip marks.
