It's clear they still have a lot of work to do, especially around ride availability but things are definitely looking much better than last year. I really can't wait to see what changes they've made to Hex, it's one of my favourite rides in the park

I went on the 23rd and that was the worst day I’ve ever had at Alton towers, the queue for entering the car park was huge, I queued up for three hours for the smiler, all the queues had 100+ mins and only managed to get on 2 rides since I had to leave early, luckily alton towers recognised this and gave us VAFF tickets

Me too mate, it was terrible I only got on 5 rides!!!! I'm going back on Thursday with the free return tickets

It was the first Saturday of the season so it’s always gonna be packed

Was there too, drove 4 hours there and back and it was awful, didn’t manage to get on smiler and did less rides than expected and not really gonna get any compensation as we already get free entrance due to having an annual pass

I worked on rapids last season and I can confirm we didn’t even have a deck chair 😂 we just stood

I didn't notice you filming but there I am in the video 🤣 Big Bob's flames weren't working when we got there but after a few minutes downtime they were. I suspect they paused operations to fix them
