The show went downhill when they decided to move these two apart.. should have kept Helen and Max together.

I don’t like how the show twisted this Max and Helen relationship. The show took a turn for the worst after she left she left. After all the love Max and a Helen had, they decided to end it like they did. Not cool at all. I was done watching after she left the show. They never closed things with them properly. Then want us to accept this Wilder relationship that looks very rebound. We fans deserved better.

I already knew that they were going to put Max and Wilder together. I stopped watching after Sharpe left but to me The WRITERS missed the mark. Instead of putting Max with Wilder so soon after the breakup with Helen they should have just had him spend more time with his daughter and run the hospital and maybe offered a position somewhere else that he couldn’t turn down. We as fans are suppose to believe that after some months he’s ready for another relationship with someone else. His daughter Luna was calling Helen Mom and since she was no longer in the picture that should have been addressed in some manner to Luna after all she has basically lost two moms now Wilder is coming in the picture so soon and the chemistry with Max and Wilder doesn’t come close to the chemistry between Max and Helen. SORRY but that’s my opinion.

He made the right decision. Helen treated him badly and had plenty of time to reach out to him and didn't. He's moved on!

Max definitely made the wrong choice! He should have at least talked to Helen to hear her out (not making any excuses for Helen because how she has treated Max is totally wrong) besides Helen has major issues that need to be fixed. Deep down Max still loves her but it's understandable that he is deeply hurt.

I actually stopped watching after the second episode of season 5 they messed up the whole show Max and Hellen were end game so annoyed with what they did

Dr. Elizabeth Wilder was so true to tell Max to just take a look at Helen and make a decision. Dr. Wilder is a kind soul who is understanding and would stand by Max's side and be a good mother to his daughter.

I was all for max and helen but I saw him and Alice and thought they could’ve had something great if the timing were better

Letting Max choose Helen and Helen choose Max would’ve been the perfect example of the saying…relationship and marriage isn’t perfect they are a lot of work. But in the end, if you love each other, you can overcome anything , no matter what it is. That would’ve been a perfect ending to a love story. she could’ve showed up in episode 13 ready to go to Switzerland with him.

I wanted Max and Helen to get married and have a beautiful baby. I was disappointed when she left. They looked so good together😢
