There are two new options for people looking for an affordable place to stay. One involves a new affordable housing complex -- the Lofts at San Marco East -- that is now taking applications.

A lot of shady people work at affordable housing complexes. Just look at satori town center…

Never heard of that place. What's wrong with it?

Would anyone happen to know how to find that area's average income?

They say the average income for Jacksonville Florida is around $67,000 a year true average income for young adults who work a 40 hour a week job at $18.25 an hour only 2100 a month after taxes if they’ve worked 160 hours that month.

So basically, if you don’t want to spend more than half of your income on rent, we can rent from this company, but then we have to go to classes about money management. What if I’m below the average income because I’m supporting a family of four. At the end of the day this is fancy HUD housing that you still have to pay for follow their rules and do their classes and they might let you stay a year. Not to mention those thin walls with all those kids and people screaming and that one building I would never pay to live in an apartment. I do not know what the attraction or upside would be. No parking no garage no privacy no yard no storage no thanks.

@@user-bd6yr5et1z I appreciate your word of warning, and I hear you. I've already signed a renewal lease for the place I'm at anyway, and, to be honest, it's not half bad. I'm still curios about this process though. I just like to have a full lay of the land when it comes to the resources around me.

@@kalibmilner877 I mean...you're not wrong. I thought about those issues as well, though I didn't realize that they might make you take classes on financial literacy. The thin walls and ceilings would be a big no for me too. I've lived under a toddler and mom who acted like a toddler and it's an experience that I don't want have again.
