That's really impressive, before I started going through NG+ I tried adding this kind of detail to the penthouse in New Atlantis, but unlike outposts, you can never have anybody living there, so it always felt like a waste of effort. You've inspired me for the future.

Built a outpost in pretty much same place used the outpost limit increses & lux home mods. Built castle walls to make a fortress nearly as big as new atlantis. Twin cities now

I love these videos, but I kinda wish these places existed as city expansion / town mods with their own npcs as well, for those of us that dont like to engage in outpost building because it kinda ruins the grassroots bouncer feel of our characters in favor of a builder tycoon. This universe needs more civilization, but its not my miner dude who's gonna finance this enterprise.

Considering you could do it in fallout 4 it’s even more surprising you can’t do it in starfield. I assume it’s a game balance thing so you can’t have hundreds of npcs working for you all over the galaxy lol.

@@vladdy8493 starfield does have a formid bloat bug which has only been remedied but not fixed (not to mention a script bloat bug recently discovered after the release of the creation kit which is similar to the one in skyrim, a 12 years old game). However, I think theres enough formids to go around for modders to make some extra cities or even small towns scattered across the game's worldspace if only to make it seem more lived in.

This is a very cool build man. I havent delved too deep into outpost building yet. I havent found the patience for how the placement system works.

Thanks! Yeah, it can be extremely frustrating at times, but well worth it. You should try with a small outpost (maybe like one hab) and then go from there. Thanks for watching :)

Credit goes out to you hab crafters. I just don't have the patience for hab building. But I guess that's the beauty of Starfield huh? A little something for almost every gaming desire.

Lol yeah it does require an enormous amount of patience, but I find it extremely therapeutic. And yeah it's literally a sandbox - excited for the future.

Wowsers....this is a brilliant build !! How do you get your items, to not sink into the table surfaces....everything I place down, sinks into the surface

Thank you!! 😁 items will sink into tables (furniture) after you fast travel away from the outpost. You just have to fast travel back to the outpost and replace every item unfortunately. They shouldn't move after that.

Sorry to hear that man :/ I haven't experienced a crash in quite a long time. Are you playing with mods?

@@JKOLWIKIGaming yea no game breaking mods though. I’m on an Xbox so I do light modding to keep the game files from clogging up. I even downloaded mods that are supposed to reduce visuals to allow me to actually play the game without lag and freezing and no luck. Can’t even get past the title screen without the game crashing lol. I’ve tried everything bethesda and Microsoft recommend and still no luck. It’s literally become unplayable for me lol.

@billiamthemars983 that's crazy :( are you playing on a series x? I'm playing on a series x and the game is running so smooth - I also have mods installed. I'm sure you've already done this, but have you un-installed the game?

@@JKOLWIKIGaming I’m on series S which is also why I keep mods light because I have reduced space. For a couple weeks the game would run fine with mods but once it started crashing that’s when I started having serious issues. Quests would be locked out because they wouldn’t progress, freezing, lagging, and now the crashes have gotten worse. Could be a mod I have that’s causing issues but even when I disable all the mods it still has problems. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game completely and still no luck. Can’t be the Xbox either because every other game runs with no issues at all.

:( that sucks. Yeah, I'm not sure how the game runs on the Series S, but I haven't really heard of too many ppl having these issues. Your current game save might be corrupted - maybe it's causing a all these issues

@@JKOLWIKIGaming honestly it was a while ago so i dont remember how she did it or what her channel name is but it looked like she did alot of base building/decorating stuff so it shouldnt be too hard to find.

You just put coffee tables down - place them really close to one another. Then you can slap some rugs on top. I put shelf at the end to kind of mimic stairs.

Thanks! Thanks for the comment :) You are entitled to your own opinion, but I don't think the game is bad. It's def a fun sci-fi space rpg game, but I understand it's not for everyone.
